  6. About Billie's many talents and going in different directions, I've noticed he manages to lay his foot by turning it on a side. He's not afraid of getting a cramp? and here he does it with the other foot. Damn

  7. @pacejunkie punk That might be my favorite interview from the RevRad era. Too damn hilarious. I need to rip the audio off YouTube so I can put it on my iPod for road trip listening.

  9. Sometimes I wish Green Day released their side project stuff under their own name. My favorite albums since AI have been "Stop, Drop, and Roll" and "Love is for Losers" (yes, I know Billie made that album by himself). Green Day seem to play it safe on their records, and Billie has said in the past that a lot of pressure comes with putting the "Green Day" label on something. But their side project work, even from before AI, is some of their best music. I hope their next record has some of the residual energy and passion from LIFL.

  11. That does look pretty painful. He must really be straining his eyes when he does that. Is it odd that I find that expression kind of adorable? I mean, it’s freaky and a bit unnatural , but there’s something really cute about those wide eyes of his, even when they’re going off in different directions.

  12. I don’t know how people cross their eyes like that but it looks like it would hurt.

  16. I still managed to see the show live on youtube thanks to GDC, it was awesome, even more as I came randomly on here without knowing about the show, and a couple of hours later I was watching it and crying with joy

  17. It sure did and you're right it was the same weekend. I would have gone to see them if it weren't for family obligations. 😞

  24. What sounds better to the public “the songs weren’t that good so we scrapped it” “the album was stolen and we just going to start anew”

  25. Reason #29484 why I love this band: they’re shitty liars

  26. Literally right from when they first started saying it was stolen they had no poker face about it. The official line from them was never just that they had to start again because it was stolen, it was that the master tapes or whatever got stolen and that made them re-evaluate and realise it wasn't good enough so it would be better to do something more ambitious instead as well as sort their relationship with each other out. They were open about the other stuff from the beginning. There's no way the songs wouldn't have been recorded or documented in other ways, they would've been able to recreate the album if they'd wanted. My assumption is the stolen part just made it a better story than we realised the album sucked

  27. When you’re purchasing something at a convenience store and the cashier gives you your total ($) and waits for you to pay, but you hand over the wrong amount of money because “Holiday” was playing on the radio and you really didn’t hear a thing she said.
