I always wondered if Shoplifter ever had anything to do with Winona Ryder. Billie was pictured with her a couple times in the Warning era, and then the song comes out a few years later. Right when I was googling to see when her arrest was, Shoplifter came on my iPod. If that's not confirmation...

The other night, I was in the kitchen getting something while my parents were watching some crime show called White Chapel. There was a really creepy guy who was seducing women and taking them home and drugging them, then doing awful things to them including drinking their blood. JUST because this guy was wearing eyeliner, my dad points at the screen and says "It's Billie Joe Armstrong". Then my mom turns to him and says "Don't say that." in a very offended and disgusted tone. I just really appreciated her defending Billie's honor and shooting down an association with such a horrible character. My dad was making a joke, but still. Billie is literally the only person he thinks of whenever he sees men in shows or movies with eyeliner. 🙄 I just always think "He's not the ONLY guy to ever wear eyeliner. It's not just his thing and anyone else who wears it shouldn't automatically be associated with him." Anyway, that's my random thought of the day.

I agree with @Scumbag On A Mission. Billie is very much still a guy, but he does have some quite feminine features to him. There's just this special combination of elegant, delicate figure and face along with sexy muscular boy that makes him a beautiful, perfect person. God I love him! A couple years ago, I had a (bisexual) guy friend who told me that Billie helped him determine his sexuality; Billie was one of the first men he was ever attracted to. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I have a girl friend who tells me that Billie confirms that she is "definitely not attracted to guys". Honestly though, I can't help but feel that Billie would appeal to people of all sexual orientations because while he doesn't totally lack masculinity, he still has that petite "girlish figure" that we all love so much. He has a somewhat androgynous look, and I say that with nothing but love and affection. I wouldn't want him any other way.

@jengd I also get the "funny looking" comment from my friends. One of them says that he looks like a weird hobbit. @The Bellie One of my best friends is gay and even he doesn't think Billie is hot.

@The Bellie I have had similar things happen , but my favourite was with a friend who has little interest in music, so not something we ever really discuss. We were sitting in a bar and my phone lit up and I had a great shot of Billie as my lock screen. She said "who is that" but like WHO IS THAT??? and went on to say her husband would not be happy if she had that pic on her phone 😂
