I actually love Mike's voice, it's strong and clear, and he's never really sang anything other than high energy punchy songs so I don't really know how he'd fare on the quiet ones. I think he should feature more but just enough so we can still go 'omg Mike!!!' when he pops up I love his little line in Sex Drugs and Violence.

Honestly, I don’t think Mike has voice for it. I love Mike and I love the Newtork album where he has a lot of vocals, particularly x-ray hamburger which is pretty much what you describe but while I love it, I don’t think he has enough variation to carry a whole album and that it would be boring to listen to. I think one of the attractions about the network is the novelty value and I think they know it. I would really love to hear more of their old harmonies again though.

Thank you to everyone who helped me figure out how to include pictures in my posts. I've attached this picture as a test. I really like how the shirt Billie's wearing in this photo accentuates his plump lil bellie. Also thank you @The Bellie for suggesting that I attempt this from a computer. I assumed I'd be able to upload and post pictures from my tablet, but I couldn't manage to do this until I switched over to my computer. I should've considered that awhile ago.

I'd say for Billie it's a need of both touring life and good time off, and finding a balance between the two, which he seems to do very well lately. When The Longshot tour started, and as it went by, he seemed all the more passionate about it, and now that he's on vacation, he seems happy and rested, and willing to show how he's appreciating it. I hope he makes it last a bit Yeah, I also loved to see the RevRad tattoo, as he shows us only down to his upper chest and arm, you have to focus on all the details in that area ; which are still precious as we don't see them often enough!

Looking at the picture again (not that I need an excuse to ), I think the break that Billie has had in recent months is playing its part in him looking so good. Living out of a suitcase, travelling and time changes during a world tour must take their toll on the human body, but Billie has only done two Coverups shows and Christmas in Minnesota since the Longshot tour ended, and the rest that he's had during that time is helping to make him look refreshed and radiant. And it's nice to see the Rev Rad tattoo, too

This exactly. We pretty much got that with the Network so we can imagine what that would be like. Mike solos are great for one song but it’s a bit of a novelty like how the Beatles would give Ringo a song to song on every album. It’s his harmonies I miss.

I just can't get over how insanely sexy he looks in that pic. That photo is like the epitome of perfection. His lovely messy curls, gorgeous smooth skin, beautiful ink, dreamy half-closed eyes, delicious plump lips set in a tiny smirk (he knows exactly what he does to us, the little shit!), his adorable lil eyelashes, perfectly shaped eyebrows, the stubble, the necklaces, the earring... he is absolutely divine. Just imagine waking up to that every day. 80 is one lucky lady, that's for sure! I also kinda adore the fact that he could've gone pretty much anywhere he wanted but he chose to sleep in his car.❤️ It's just such a Billie thing to do and I love that he's like that.❤️

I saw in on Youtube once. Yeah it is and they didn't always choose the most flattering pics, but it's still captivating. I hope you'll manage soon, if it may help I personally always do it from my computer, it's probably easier. Whether it's an image I find on the internet or one I upload from my files on a host site like imgur, I right-click on the pic to open it in a new tab and copy the url address of the tab, and then I paste it directly (Ctrl+V) in the GDC post. It happened to me to mess it up as well About the pic Billie posted for his birthday... I don't remember what he did last year, but I'm happy he has posted something himself this year for this occasion, with a pic where he shows to be happy, healthy, taking good time with Adrienne, and I join every one else saying it's so awesome they chose to sleep (and make love obviously) in their car, it's so romantic, and sweet of him to share it with us.

I really like Mike's voice, and I'd really really love to hear him sing a song or two, but not the whole album. I'd miss Billie too much, his voice is like the main reason why I started listening to GD.

Not to get too deep, but in making my Insta post for Billie's birthday earlier I realised he was honestly the only positive adult male role model I ever had in my adolescent years. I mean, I had other male celebrities I liked obviously, but none I connected with in anywhere near the same way. There's a lot of unresolved trauma surrounding my father abandoning me but I always had Billie. I just wanna hug him and say thanks 😭

I was watching a Let's Play of Life is Strange 2 the other day and the youtuber was looking at a screen at the very and that showed the choices he made throughout the game and then these little skulls popped up when he looked at the choices his friends made... and they seemed instantly familiar to me. At first I thought those were the skulls from 21st Century Breakdown, but it turns out they're actually the skulls from the trilogy lol. I mean these are 99% the same skulls All they did was change the edges just a tiny little bit. Now I'm wondering if this is some kind of homage or something or actual art theft. For those who are wondering, Life is Strange 2 is a game about two latino boys (one teenager and one kid) living in (pre-)Trump-America, on the run after an incident with the police. The kid has telekinetic powers and throughout the game your choices (as the teenager) will influence the kid's actions and how he sees the world.

I have Green Day dreams too often. Last night (which happened to be the night following Billie’s birthday) I dreamt that Billie threw himself a birthday party and Mike approached Billie and proceeded to call him an “old man” (even though Billie’s literally less than three months older than Mike). That’s when Billie looked at him and screamed “DON’T CALL ME OLD” and started beating the shit out of Mike. I have no clue what brought this dream on.

I’d also like to quickly express that I didn’t realize that an adoration of Billie’s bellie was so common among Green Day fans, but seeing how many times it’s been mentioned on this thread...I’m so glad it’s not just me who’s finds his little bellie attractive.
