Not to get too deep, but in making my Insta post for Billie's birthday earlier I realised he was honestly the only positive adult male role model I ever had in my adolescent years. I mean, I had other male celebrities I liked obviously, but none I connected with in anywhere near the same way. There's a lot of unresolved trauma surrounding my father abandoning me but I always had Billie. I just wanna hug him and say thanks 😭

That was the first live Green Day performance I ever saw . Didn't have internet but was lucky enough to see it watching music channels at my dad's house. Totally blew me away omg, especially St Jimmy. Speaking of spit there's a nice drool shot at the end of that song . Iconic performance

"Things you probably don't know" I take this as a challenge. If the one about trying to get into an Operation Ivy show is true then it's funny, haven't heard that one before. Same for the toilet seat thing although I've heard that before and still don't know if it's true or just a rumour. A lot of them are vague/dubious though (like how is he "one of the first blue collar punks"? and if they're going to do two about his acting why are only King of the Hill and Haunted of all things mentioned?) with incorrect details added in, info about Blue being his "first guitar" is wrong as usual. I love to hate these things

There used to be a good video of it but I can't find one now, only this where you briefly see her up there around 4:55. It was funny, he took the opportunity to pull her up while a bunch of the crowd was up there too and then proceeded to be even more annoying sticking his bum out at her, she had a quick dance and gave it a spank and left

They should come do an internship on GDC , where people listen to all the songs and everyone ends up with their own favorite lyrics coming from a multitude of songs, potentially any song, because there are so many great lyrics everywhere. With that kind of articles, it should be great to mix stuff people may already more or less know, with other stuff they wouldn't know except if they are already big fans. That way they may want to listen to the less known songs

@The Bellie He can’t help but look adorable. No matter how pissed off he looks. He just can’t help it. Also could somebody give me instructions on how to attach a picture to a post? It might be simple and obvious but I’m literally the furthest thing from “tech savvy”. It’s similar to Billie’s struggle to comprehend modern technology.

I would agree They didn't even go into ANYTHING that was super deep and cool, just popular lyrics off popular songs.
