Yesterday morning whilst I was home I decided to put RevRad on repeat like I used to back when it was released and was struck again by what a fantastic song "Say Goodbye" is. All the little "bits" like the bow guitar (I'm not very good at explaining what I mean here!) - it's just awesome.
Later in the day KFAD from Milton Keynes came on the playlist and when it got to the part where the crowd is all singing along to "always look on the bright side" I turned to @solongfromthestars and exclaimed "God I miss Green Day" and she said "you know you're a Green Day fan when you say that during KFAD"!
Another piece from Rock Sound about performances on a show that used to be on TV in the UK called Top of the Pops. Green Day were on a number of times and they've chosen their performance of "Minority":
When your boss gives you a ride home, WICA comes on the radio, and you immediately stop listening to what he's saying. Refrained from turning the volume up at least.
Poss meant to be but missed after a night out with the girls. Your interpretations works too though. Seeing Billie smile like that does give me loads of feelings!
Oh hey I split the calendar posts into their own thread. Have to say again great work @solongfromthestars and also this is greatest thing to come from this thread and why I love it
Nah go for it dude. I’m from Australia so I can’t really order one yet, but people waste money on booze, AirPods, cars...
a dookie pedal is at least creative! Music gear is never a waste of money haha
So my best friend and coworker wants to make a "Green Day Jar" - everytime I mention something about Green Day or Billie Joe Armstrong I have to put $1 in the jar I told her I would just slam dunk my paycheck in there
