Yesterday morning whilst I was home I decided to put RevRad on repeat like I used to back when it was released and was struck again by what a fantastic song "Say Goodbye" is. All the little "bits" like the bow guitar (I'm not very good at explaining what I mean here!) - it's just awesome. Later in the day KFAD from Milton Keynes came on the playlist and when it got to the part where the crowd is all singing along to "always look on the bright side" I turned to @solongfromthestars and exclaimed "God I miss Green Day" and she said "you know you're a Green Day fan when you say that during KFAD"!

This is unrelated but I couldn't resist making this gif, Billie makes a badass jump and then dorkily starts to pull his pants back up (in case anyone wondered, hanging on here has perverted me a bit, there's plenty of stuff I wouldn't have paid attention to before)

It bugs me that his punctuation is always away from the end of the phrase and that he only uses 2 .. for an ellipsis. But then again, he never learned to read or write so well...

As much as this pedal's announcement excited me, it also felt like kind of a slap in the face. Like, I've spent so much time and money over the years chasing Billie's tone (both live and in the studio), and now that I'm at my current rig that - no joke - sounds incredibly close to it while also still feeling uniquely me at the same time, only NOW do they announce a single tiny piece of gear that's meant to be exactly what I've been looking for this whole time. I dunno, I'm so in love with my current rig and it sounds close enough to Billie's tone to the point where I'm pretty satisfied. And all the demos of this pedal I've heard so far have just sounded a little tiny bit off (even the good ones) that I'm not so sure I wanna risk it, especially at that price point. 😕

Nah go for it dude. I’m from Australia so I can’t really order one yet, but people waste money on booze, AirPods, cars... a dookie pedal is at least creative! Music gear is never a waste of money haha

They're wicked smart too! That's why they don't make good pets. They can figure out how to get into anything. I've always thought of Billie as quite weasel-like. His physique definitely, but also his cuteness, high energy, and spice.
