I like it a lot but I also have something else in mind and it's a horrible, horrible idea. Y'all have one week to prepare.6 points

Same! It meant so much to me and most others were so... not emotional about it?! I screamed when I won the lottery like a true annoying fangirl. Couldn't stop shaking. It was one of the best things ever! The whole experience was actually. Makes me emotional just thinking about it. I wrote about it in detail if anyone is interested: https://mariagloriaharvey.wordpress.com/2018/02/22/americanidiot/ A few of my favourite pics (because I'm in a constant state of fangirling over them and the fact my band HAD a Broadway musical) And because my resting bitch face doesn't even fade for Green Day, here's a rare appearance from my true fangirl face right after I won the lottery. Hideous photo (and I no longer have that hairdo) but accurate.5 points

Reminds me that one time I was fangirling in front of a friend, and he said to me "you know, Billie is not a little angel above human condition. He pisses, shits and cleans his nose like everyone else". And I was like "er... yeah, and if you knew how much he makes everybody know about it"4 points

Didn't he (along with Mike maybe) once trash someone's house and shit in a pot and put it in their oven and turn it on? Trashcan is definitely a step up4 points

Iβm going to take a bet on something to do with taking a shit in a trash can, cβmon @Jane Lannister, do your worst ππ4 points

I think I might now prefer Dookie to American Idiot. I have listened to it a couple times recently and been enjoying it a lot and it may have surpassed AI to become my 2nd favourite GD album after 21CB. Even though it doesn't have too many of my absolute favourite GD songs, it's still great from beginning to end, and while a lot of it has the same sound, the Dookie sound never gets boring throughout the album's run time.4 points

So my best friend and coworker wants to make a "Green Day Jar" - everytime I mention something about Green Day or Billie Joe Armstrong I have to put $1 in the jar I told her I would just slam dunk my paycheck in there4 points

Ignore the shameful misspelling, but should we add this to the list of crazy shit and pee stories? π4 points

You're on the right track! Leopard Thong is on my shortlist, I would have many good profile photos to choose from.3 points

Yeah, me too, it's my fave It's a lovely photo! And it never struck me that you had a RBF, really, when we saw each other I made a few gifs about Billie and a kid he invited to sing Longview in Wrigley Field (and I'm practically sure it's the same kid he had already invited a couple of weeks earlier in Kansas City, and he said in the live Instagram after that first night that he loved that kid ) 1) hug (and adorkable head patting) 2) Billie's (efficient) helping out the same from another angle: 3) Billie's zeal for the masturbation line 4) almost immediately after, he annoys the kid to turn around with him same from another angle: 5) stage dive (Billie is surprised by the kid's celerity and then has a victory gesture in the end) Bonus: I'm realizing now that I'm rewatching them, that all these gifs are essentially featuring dorky content Billie's dorkiness is gif-fitting3 points

Yeah I think that's the main reason but I've definitely heard him say it was because of Bon Jovi being there too. The whole show is part let's put on a great performance and part fuck this show and everyone here so makes sense that it was a bit of both. He also said he'd never got naked on stage before that when in fact he'd already done it at another show on that tour (possibly as warm up ) so he doesn't exactly always tell the whole truth when describing things3 points

These are pics of the boys before the Wrigley Field gig in 2017 All I can see is how skinny Billie's legs are2 points

I love the songs on American Idiot, but there are so awesome live that I often prefer to see (one of the very numerous ) footage of them than listen to them on the album. I put mp3 of live versions of BOBD, Jesus of Suburbia, American Idiot, WMUWSE and Are We The Waiting on my phone, and prefer them to the studio versions, so I end up listening less often to the album, but I also enjoy more the studio versions of the songs that way. Thinking of that, I know it has been overplayed in the past, but one of the first songs I would love to witness live (and that I haven't yet) is WMUWSE. The way Billie performed it alone with his guitar at the end of some gigs during RevRad was .2 points

And on the other hand this from Guitar World in 1996: "Well, we write rock and roll music. We're a rock and roll band. We're extroverted and exhibitionist. We're not shoe gazers no way. We're demented. Up on stage, I'm gonna take my fuckin' clothes off and wiggle my little dick at everybody. I'm gonna be totally obnoxious and rude and spit in the eye of every fucking heavy grunge band that ever came out" The two sides to Billie getting naked at shows: to make the show fun and to say fuck you2 points

"is a Omaha"? Lol! Really, Billie? Good post, though. Those people are disgusting! Such disrespect and bigotry. They should all be ashamed of themselves.2 points

Oh, believe me, considering it. Or maybe @Jane Lannister. She could rock it.2 points

I don't know which interview it was, but I know there was one probably in 95 where Billie talks about how pissed he was that they were playing with Bon Jovi and why he decided to get naked.2 points

It was February 19th, 2011. I believe the 6pm showing. I was lucky enough to win front row seats through the little ticket lottery that they did before the show. I had already bought one of course, so I gave that one to my cousin who I was staying with so she could see it too. That's the luckiest thing that's ever happened to me in my entire life. I don't remember a lot about the encore except for Billie walking up and standing right in front of my seat for Good Riddance and being so close that I could have reached out and touched him. It's kind of a blur because I was so in awe. There are so many things that I've thought of after the fact that I could have done. I could have written a letter before hand and given it to him. I could have bought a rose or something for him. I could have just said 'thank you'. He was right there! I didn't get to see him after the show when he came out of the theater and was signing stuff on his way to his car. There were so many people crowding around. I do regret that, but I'm so fortunate to have had the experience that I did. Here are some pictures from that night (It was 8 years ago, I look so young!):1 point

So, I finally got around to showing Dad the Kerrang special from November with the 20-something pages about GD. He said that Mike & Tre had aged a bit (his words not mine) and that Billie had changed the least. He found the picture of Billie and Mike with long hair hilarious. It's always good to show other people pictures of GD, I await Mum's thoughts.1 point

I especially love that first one.π He looks super soft and cuddly, I just wanna squeeze him.1 point

More Billie pics. Some old ones and some not so old. I really like the first one (it's different to the one that always seems to be used from this photoshoot):1 point

I like his arms beneath long sleeves, I think it's also sexy, not only do you see his biceps bulging but the rolled up sleeve is a bit compressing his forearm but I admit I wouldn't mind seeing more t-shirts1 point

People who were at the Rose Bowl soundcheck said Billie had been wanting to play Too Dumb To Die, but Mike wasn't up for it. I guess that's part of it.1 point
-
I like the button down shirts because he leaves just enough undone at the top to show off the "be silently drawn" tattoo, BUT I'm dying to see arms. Dammit! FREE THE ARMS, BILLIE!1 point
