Pics of Billie being cute and running around Whenever I fall on pics like these ^^, I always think now of Billie saying in the last podcast that on stage he's "kind of an idiot, I run around" and from an outside point of view it's adorable when he does plus often allowing people on the sides to see him closer. I hope he never quits running around!

foa, love u @Jane Lannister and second I agree. I think we've all had exes that did this kinda shit but not the level that Jeff did. It's really immature behavior and I don't necessarily condone saying stupid shit on twitter but I can see why if venting makes him feel better. Soon as you get fans involved in it though, then you're just riling people up and using their anger to further an agenda. I really don't like that someone like Jeff would do that, but I guess 13y/o girls aren't the only ones needing to post babyass tweets after a breakup ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ he does know what he's doing though with the fact that he does have a pretty big following of people that would act out on his behalf, even stupidly so. that's what makes it worse in my book - he actively knows he's being immature.

I agree 100%! There's just something impressive to me that Billie will write lyrics that could be seen as sappy or cheesy or silly or embarrassing but he doesn't give a shit and sings it anyway. Like he'll write a line that could be considered cliched and be fully aware of that, but because it's what expresses his feelings best he doesn't hesitate to still go ahead and write it. It's part of an honest way of writing and shows humility and integrity that he isn't all too concerned with sounding "cool" all the time and puts expressing himself in a heartfelt way and/or having fun first. Right from the first album it's that way.

Can we not speculate about Jeff, Jeff's ex and their relationship please. All we know is what's been posted on social media plus the fact that there's two sides to every story so it's not the best idea to assume one side is gospel, or that it's not gospel for that matter. We don't know anything about their motivations and a debate about who is good or bad based on guesswork and assumptions doesn't need to happen here.

Yes Jeff shouldn’t be airing his personal stuff on social media and there is no excuse for people actually threatening her. Ridiculous. However, there is something about this young lady that made my red flags pop up from the beginning of the relationship. I don’t trust her at all, and I think she was using him. Jeff was also kind of stupid to get involved with her though so he bears a lot of the responsibility. And of course as I said, no excuse for online threats.

I was just listening to a radio show from jan 1990 and it reminded me how Billie was just “Bill” then. John kept referring to him as Bill and I know Mike did too. It’s funny how when you’re a teen you want a name that sounds more mature but a few years later it would be Billie exclusively. The Bill phase was cute though *fangirls over Bill*

Billie Joe Armstrong said, “It’s all fun and games, but when it comes to your own generation…it’s a little weirder.” Many YouTube commenters praised the performance, but lotku commented that Billie Joe Armstrong butchered a key part, “Billie forgot the scream.” Lavender Llama responded, “I feel like anywhere from the 90s to 2005, Billie would’ve done the scream pretty well lol.” Scott Bryant commented, “Billie should front the next Nirvana reunion.” Admiral Needa wrote on YouTube about the show, “On the show’s flyer, it said ‘Dress Up!’ so many attendees wore holiday costumes and festive attire, including the band! Admission was only $17, and with it, we also got a raffle ticket. Several prizes were raffled off, including the festive holiday hats that Mike, Billie Joe and Chris wore during the show, and a rare compilation vinyl from Fuel, Thumper, Monsula and Filth. This! When I first read the tweets, I thought he was just sad and angry, and felt sad for him (and Kaylie) that they were having a shit time. He shouldn't have crossed that line. Hopefully he's learnt a lesson!

I totally agree with that. My gut feeling is that she screwed him over and he was angry. I don’t think it’s at all that she’s innocent in this. However I can clearly see that he went too far. But that doesn’t surprise me in that I’ve thought for awhile now that Jeff seems kind of like a man-baby. Now that that’s clear it really is all I’m saying on the matter.

To tell the truth, at first I didn't think it was that bad, just classic Jeff being a dick on twitter. It's normal to be angry after a breakup. If a regular dude did that, I'm sure everyone would wave it off as stupid behavior that doesn't really cause any harm, but regular dudes don't have the following he has. I changed my opinion when I saw the hating gained momentum and he encouraged it. That's where he's crossed a line. It's not cool to have your fans to harrass someone.

There’s nothing to suggest his ex did anything wrong. But there is evidence of Jeff being a twat on social media 🤷🏻‍♀️ I find the idea of her getting death threats a bit ridiculous though - I know some GD fans are intense but who loves Jeff Matika to that extent, to blindly send her stuff based on his word alone? (For real though I know this is a problem for women who are/were involved with male celebs so Jeff stoked what was probably an already lit flame, and he probably knew that.) Anyway, fascinating as Jeff’s personal life is 😛 at least he realised he was wrong and hopefully everyone, not least them, can now move on from the whole thing.

He is. He is the immature one and he is not even slightly innocent in this. Yes he made a mistake, but it was a terrible one. He was downright vicious, he not only told people to harass her online, he also aired the dirty laundry for everyone to see, both on Twitter and on Instagram, he called her a liar and cheater and deceiver, and outright said she cheated on him with several men - and no offense, but we dont know the whole story, we dont know if he didn't exaggerate stuff or flat out lied to make people, most of all himself, feel better about hating her. We dont know him that well, and from his reaction to the whole thing I'm inclined to believe her over him. She is not that well known to fans and if he hadn't made such a public scene and encouraged everyone to hate her, she wouldnt have deleted her Twitter, she wouldnt have privatized her Instagram and wouldnt have had to address the threats even her son got. I appreciate the apology he made but that doesnt really change the conscious choice he made to vent out his frustrations and hurt her with it. His emotions are not an excuse, not when he gets sympathy and she gets harassment.🤷🏼‍♀️ So no, dont blame social media. Blame him. He knows about the influence he has and he knew it before the break up...

No problem at all, I feel the same about him, I always get so happy and emotional when I speak of him, even if people around me don't get it . He gets me to smile and laugh every day, and everything is lighter and brighter thanks to him. His smile is just the best thing in the world.

This may sound weird, but I love that Billie writes embarrassing and cringy songs. Not that I necessarily find them myself cringy, even though I see where this feeling comes from in Youngblood for instance, but for some reason I like that some of their songs can have this reputation. They don't give a shit and keep playing them. I wish they continue to play more embarrassing and cringy songs live, with the same passion they played Youngblood throughout the Rev Rad tour .

I have so much love in my heart for this amazing human being. Just had one of those moments where it really hits me just how much he means to me, and how he has such a huge positive impact on my life/me as a person/the way I'm feeling at any given time, and how much I appreciate having him around. We are honestly so lucky to have him, and I feel truly blessed to have him in my life (even though I don't know him personally). He is just downright incredible, more than words can describe, and he means more than the world to me. I love him so freakin' much. He's an absolute angel and he deserves all the best. P.S. Sorry for the emotional post, the feels all just hit me out of nowhere and I felt like I had to post about it.

Seemed like they enjoyed being together so it's a shame for it to happen right before Christmas. It is quite immature to post on twitter about it like that, I guess he was hurt and wanted to get it out of his system and not necessarily in the most rational and considerate frame of mind.
