I agree that his dad-ness makes him more attractive in a different way. Not in like a it makes him super hot because he's a good dad, but because it makes him more human and real to the average person who's never met him. I mean, if you look at pictures, throughout Joey and Jakob's childhood they've had an amazing father. He's such an amazing, giving person and loves his family more than anything! This is part of what makes him so magical and I think it goes hand-in-hand with him being a hottie What a handsome, amazing man5 points

He's the most beautiful creature in the universe, but he can also be a weird-ass dork, which is cute. He doesn't take himself too seriously and likes to mess with/embarrass the people around him. I love him for those reasons and for the fact that he is an intelligent, genuine, dedicated, caring, and goodhearted person. This of course translates to his personal life as well and the way he treats his family, but I still don't see it as a dad specific thing. At least in my opinion, no matter how hard he tries, Billie is not capable of being a 'dad' (TM) (and by this I mean the stereotypical lame, uncool, dad-ness. Not saying he isn't an excellent father). He is way too awesome and amazing. Anyway... Moving on. Look at this wonderful, fluffy boy!4 points

I think it's because you see a different side of him. At shows, he's master of the stage, king ring leader, larger than life, etc. At home, you see him laid back, as a caretaker, etc. It's a different view into who he is. You also see how well his kids turned out, which is partially a result of who he is. He goes from being hot (on stage) to being adorable. It's just another aspect to love about him.4 points

Ok I know we’re moving on, but since I started the whole “attractive dad” thing, I just have to say everyone that commented hit the nail on the head. Him having kids doesn’t make him attractive. It’s the way he’s a dad and that we get to see a whole different side of him. I mean seriously, how many rock stars have been married to the same woman for over 20 years and have such public displays of being such an awesome father? I’m sure there are plenty, but I don’t see them on regular so I can’t fangirl over them LOL. It just really does show what kind of person he is behind the scenes. Theres the rockstar side of him, and then there’s this whole other side that we are all so privileged to get to see. Plus maybe on some level it makes me feel better about being a 34-year-old mother of two who spends her time fangirling on the internet 😂. BUT ANYWAY back to our regularly scheduled fangirling. Fluffy Billie!!!3 points

My Longshot tattoo has already been posted so I can't post it This is mostly Green Day. The St. James Theatre represents American Idiot on Broadway and the whole thing represents how most of my best Green Day adventures have begun in New York. We Were Here is a Lights reference. I spontaneously got this while I had a concussion given to me by Billie, which adds to its appeal (and there's a very unflattering photo of me looking concussed on the artist's Instagram)3 points

Said with all of the love in the world "Jakob come back here you little shit!" (kisses son) "ok, you can go now." 😂 Doing his best to embarrass them as much as humanly possible. I love it.3 points

THIS! Also. The overall positive response to Green Day/Weezer collaboration making dad music. On Twitter when rivers cuomo said that he and Billie Joe should make dad music it made me want to puke. Billie is still super hot and cute and cool. Rivers is a nerd. Don’t nerd up Billie Joe please/move along/he’s cooler than you/deal with it. Yes I know Billie can be a nerd but that’s different. He’s cute and cool and can be a nerd sometimes. Rivers is just a nerd. p.s. I like weezer because I’m a nerd but I don’t need rivers nerding up the coolest guy on the planet.3 points

I was listening to 39/Smooth the other day on vinyl and I feel like the sound quality would have been soooo much better if Billie just had a good amp at the time. The bass tone is fine and the drum sounds aren't bad, but that guitar tone brings everything down2 points

It's a guilty pleasure I hate most reality shows but it's a good cast on I'm A Celeb this year. I also really like the Apprentice and just got an image in my head of Lord Sugar saying 'you're fired' to Billie and Billie standing up and going 'no, you're fucking fired!'2 points

Jeez, Billie. Don't you have anything better to do? Poor guy. He's probably super antsy to do music stuff right now, but for whatever reason he's not able to at the moment. He must feel trapped.2 points

Ooh, and the stage dive during SWMRS set last year, and moshing to them several years ago.2 points

I like that picture of Billie from the summer of 2015 where he has his arms on his boys shoulders 😍 I also like his dorkyness around his kids: the livestream with Jakob and 80, the puppet videos with Joey & Jakob, the moment when Billie walked onto the stage unannounced dressed as Dumbledore during Mt. Eddy's gig, and of course the hilarious time that Billie called Jakob a 'little shit' during EJN.2 points

It makes me happy to know he has such a good relationship with his kids2 points

Billie is more dork than nerd (in addition to cute, hot, etc...) Nerds are more into geeky things, dorks are just socially awkward.2 points

Fangirling doesn't have to be about attraction. To me fangirling over Billie being funny embarrassing dad and fangirling over his hawtness are two different things. But they're both appreciating things about him, aka fangirling. I guess seeing him being a good dad could make him more attractive though, just in the sense that seeing someone being a good person in whatever way can make them more attractive.2 points

Yes! I was a little disappointed that he wasn’t in the first one. I also love the super serious face he has on the dancing elf haha. Also for some reason the picture he chose for mike in the first one makes his elf look super sassy. I am thoroughly amused by all this.1 point

I found what I think is a pretty cool Pinhead Gunpowder collection: I've never seen any of their stuff at my local record stores and it looks like an OG pressing from Lookout! pre-Dookie. It was 3 bucks. Not rare, but just a really cool find I never expected to stumble upon1 point

I can see many sides of Billie and most of them 😂😂 are attractive to me. I think @Montclare is right, he’s one kind of powerful, awesome attractive on stage, but another as a caring, family man ❤️❤️❤️ I don’t get the dad thing but I do think he’s lovely and I find it very endearing when I see him with his boys and obviously kids around him love him.1 point

Has enough time lapsed to say I really hope this looks better in real life than it does here. I don’t mean to be rude, but it even looks like Billie’s eyes are brown in this!1 point

I do find the dad-ness attractive, but for me it's not because of the fact that he is a dad, it's more because of the way he is as a dad. The way he treats his kids as his equals/the way he interacts with them etc, both now and when they were younger. Yes him being a good person overall does come into it, but I just think that the family aspect is extra cute because of how family is so important to him.1 point

I think it's less about actually being a dad and more about acting like a stereotypical embarrassing dad, like telling bad jokes or posting embarrassing things about their kids. Or it might be the fact they're able to demonstrate more easily that they're caring/supportive people, idk. For me it's not an attraction thing, I just think it's adorable when they act like embarrassing dads 😛1 point

I don't really get fangirling over dad-ness. Yes, they are all people who are fathers, but I don't think that adds to their attractiveness. If anything, talking about dad-ness is a turn off for me. This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I don't understand it. Maybe someone can explain it to me? I just think the attraction to someone who is a dad simply because they are a dad is weird. 🤨 If it's the fact that they are supportive and kind, then that's cool, but that just means that they are good people in general. That's not a parent exclusive thing.1 point

Everyone is welcome here! Can you keep your posts less graphic though please? We prefer to fangirl about the band without talking about sexual things we'd like to do. Thanks1 point
