I have no idea why, but the lines from "21 Guns" in the second verse "your faith walks on broken glass, and the hangover doesn't pass, nothing's ever built to last" hits me so hard. I absolutely want a tattoo of those lyrics with some sort of picture, like angel's wings or something because it talks about faith and hope. I know everyone kind of rants and raves about the third verse, but I just love the second verse.

It's such an amazing live song, the best. Gets me every time when the Somewhere Now part comes in.

I'm sure I've seen all filmed thong antics and I haven't seen that. It rings a bell though. I think maybe it was reported on as happening at a show that wasn't filmed and I read it in a book or article.

Does Mike seriously sing this??? I always thought it was just written by him and it was Billie singing in a weird "soccer chant" style Edit: Listening to it and I still feel sure it's Billie....but I don't know if it's just because it's already ingrained into my head over many years that it's him. Is it like, confirmed somewhere, or does everyone just already know and agree that it's Mike except me?

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks this!! He's just such an amazing guy. I could gush about him all day. Instead of working at work like a normal adult I just sit there and daze off about my "married life" with Billie Joe...

When I saw them at the Aragon, my first thought upon entering the room was, "Okay, where are the other short people?" Apparently, we like Jason's side.

The only thing more striking than how small he looks on stage is how much energy he has. I know it's normal for band frontmen to be energetic on stage but it's like watching a superhuman, constantly moving, running, jumping, dancing all while singing at the top of his lungs, playing/carrying a guitar and keeping command over the show/audience and never seems to be out of breath or tired, he makes it look effortless. I had a better view than usual at the end of the catwalk at my Rev Rad show and I was in awe watching him. I'm just totally fangirling thinking of that show now haha. Can't wait to see them live again

I mean regardless of how tall he actually is he does look tiny when you see him in the flesh running around on stage. I think the whole band looks surprisingly small when you see them at a show though. None of them are really that far from average but none of them are very tall or built very big either so when you see them they're like, a fun sized band Also I think short people tend to gravitate to other short people (and tall to tall etc) and Green Day fans are shorter on average than the general population. Can't prove my theory but I'm sure there's some truth to it

Regarding Billie's height: Joke aside, Billie isn't tall if he is compared to men's average height. But I don't considered him as small. It just depends of the point of view. He is taller than me for about 3 inchs. So he is tall. But I would considered him small if I was going to compare him to, for example, all the men on my mother's side of family. I miss Billie. I want to see a new pîcture of him. I don't care if it was a new weird selfie in a bathroom, I just need one new picture!

About Billie's neck, some random guy I've showed once a RevRad video, who wasn't a fan and didn't know GD, reacted to me telling that Billie was cute and small that, while it was true, he also looked strong and muscular and had notably a handsome neck. I was really happy with this reaction I agree, I think this part of his body is one of the things that contribute a lot to his sexiness @Green Day In Seattle I see what you mean, I'm smaller than Billie but I don't even think of me as particularly small, even though I'm in the small average girl height. And I think it depends on pics of Billie but sometimes it's not so much his height but as @Hermione says more his small build, narrow hips and shoulders, round face and overall cuteness that makes us him look small. This shows a lot in my 2nd picture ^^. And yeah it isn't incompatible at all with looking very handsome at the same time.

Aww, I’m sorry. I don’t think either of them are necessarily bad answers. They open themselves up to a lot of follow-up questions. I don’t know what I would’ve picked about myself if I was in your position. That’s a really hard question because it’s personal and subjective. I guess at least you can use it as a learning experience?

He’ll do whatever the fuck he wants so I have no expectations that he’ll think he has to look a certain way for a small show. And the other way he accentuates his smallness is by jumping in peoples arms all the time, I think it’s cute how he plays it up. (I thought 5’8” was average but either way he is below)

I got asked for two interesting facts about myself in a job interview today. I panicked and said "I've been on stage with Green Day." I don't know what that says about me... it will be interesting to see if I get the job

I have so many dreams where I get to hug him or be in physical contact with him. I just wish they were real. He does look like he gives amazing hugs! I'm just super longing for him right now and I wish I could meet him and talk to him it's making it hard to think about anything else. How are people so lucky?

I mean, I don't think it's unreasonable to say this thread should be for when you have something to fangirl about and not a place to constantly spam posts or to discuss everything about GD. Like I hope you guys can see why we restarted it, it became very difficult to follow and the alternative was getting rid of it. It's not like there's ever been a lack of legit fangirling posts so I don't see any reason why "restricting" it to that should be a problem, the thread will still be here to post in without being spammed with anything and everything just for the sake of keeping it going. Most fangirly thing I've done is probably making thousands of posts on a GD fansite for almost 10 years . That or keeping/sniffing Billie's beer can. Or spending the day before 21st CB came out listening to GD's entire discography in chronological order lol.

I once licked the seat of a car because a man told me it belonged to Tre Cool once. It only tasted like old Taco Bell and ball sweat. I'm pretty sure Tre Cool was never in the car. I sent Mike Dirnt a letter asking for his advice: Should I feed my dog the food that he likes or the diet food that is good for his health? I'm pretty sure Mike's reply got lost in the mail. I was on an airplane about to land in San Francisco when another plane nearly crashed into us. I flipped off the other plane but I'm pretty sure the other plane's pilot didn't see it. Then I found out Billie Joe Armstrong was on that plane. I realized I may have accidentally flipped off Billie Joe so I sent him a bag of weed for a green day, but it was only shake so I think that wasn't sufficient for an apology and he is still mad at me.

I know, I know! Jeff is so hot* and clever and he hates fans like no one else I'm glad this confession is on the first page, hopefully next generations of fangirls will read this and appreciate him! *not really, but I love him anyway
