  1. I'm currently going through a phase of listening to Hitchin a Ride a lot.

  2. I believe I can say I can badly bullied yesterday by a group of coward and above all stupid people. Anyways, I stood up the whole time and at some point, someone said: "We're the majority against you". I was listening before to the song Minority and instantly relieved to hear that, to which I replied: "It suits me fine, cause I want to be the minority". And even if it didn't stop there, and that of course people didn't get the reference, I felt much more assured from there. If it takes courage to stand up alone and say this words to a bunch of dickheads, it must have taken even more to write them. I was just even more than usual grateful and admiring Green Day after that unpleasant episode. They're here in all small and big hard times.

  3. I apologize if the answer is obvious, but why did Green Day ditch the Tremolo Pedal for live performances of BOBD after the AI Tour? I don’t recall it being much of an issue for them to play the song with it.

  4. Just some more gorgeous pictures of him! I like that Tré is in the background of this one.

  6. Two things about that Instagram video: 1. I love it when men wear jewelry like that. I can't explain it. Seeing an attractive man wearing a necklace or rings that aren't wedding bands is sexy to me. 2. It looks like he was wearing a band shirt, I thought it was Ramones at first, and it makes me happy! As someone who doesn't plan to stop rocking band shirts ever, it makes me happy to see older people in them.

  7. I've recently been watching some of the funny moments from the Rev Rad tour, here's a small selection of my favourites: * Billie mixing up the Jason's during Minority, Milan (from 2:30) * Billie bursting the balloon during BODB, Milan (from 4:10) * Billie with the horse mask during Longview, Milan (4:20) * Billie falling over during Basketcase, Melbourne (from 1:50) * Billies flat guitar intro to Minority, Leeds (from 4:30)

  8. Well if I had to guess I would have said timing might have been a slight issue with live tremolo and they wanted to preserve the original feel of the song, but really I have no idea.

  9. This has surely been said many times, but the way Billie behaves with fans he invites on stage, especially to play guitar, is so damn adorable, and admirable. The time he takes, the attention he gives, how he cares to make it work for the fan whether it's the greatest or the worst guitar player, as he says. And all the goofiness that surrounds it. (And he was very good-looking in that particular gig. ) Even if it's not a Green Day song they play, I sometimes use good footage of this song such as this one to introduce Green Day to people who don't know them, because, besides their music, the way they are, notably with fans on stage, is so defining and significant. The time with the fan begins around 4:30 but the whole video is full of irresistible dorkiness . I want Billie to never stop making those cute animal sounds he does in the beginning.

  10. Wasn't a large part of BOBD during the AI tour playback anyway, which is why Tre had to use headphones on that one. I think that might have been the main reason they searched for an alternative/simpler way of performing the song? I'm not sure if the whole intro was playback, but the guitar in the background with the two sliding notes certainly was (the part with the same notes as Billie's ah-ah ah-ah ah-ah line).

  15. Nah a bit of scruffy stubble is ok but a beard just doesn't suit him. I support his right to have it , but I don't find it attractive

  16. Knowing that the beard contains dog spit doesn't help improve my opinion of it

  17. For real I think out of all the rumored and put off projects this is the one I'd want most

  18. That's totally the one I was thinking of! The epic hair on display made it memorable. So it was more than just the songs they were doing then. I can't even imagine what a Green Day horror film would've been like
