Seem like the good answer. It's what I think too. Many things could of have happenned during those 20 years. Like Gary said to Perry, they were ready to release the album and do a massive tour when Perry left. Which means the band did take time to record and plan the tour. So count here atleast a year of preparation before Salomé was born. Also, at the beginning of the movie, the band is presenting each other to the media. It seems like the media didn't know the guys much, like they were at the very beginning of their career. We need a prequel movie!!!

Thanks to searching for Green day pictures from last tour and looking up their provenance, my knowledge in geography has improved a lot. I used to suck so much I wouldn't have been able to say in which countries were Belfast, Zurich, Pittsburgh (I would've sworn that was in England ), Perth, Auckland to mention a few. And I didn't know the names of US cities such as Norfolk, Raleigh, Mansfield, Tampa, Pasadena, Albuquerque, etc. Now not only do I know their names but I know in which state each of them is and the name of the venue Green Day played in each. Looking up pictures from specific gigs helped and also watching footage in which Billie repeatedly screams the name of the city often followed by the state. Anyways, thanks to Green Day I won't be so ignorant anymore when it comes to geography. Next thing I have to do is locate all these places on a US map .

2 of those are wrong, one of those images is from Geek Stink Breath but it said it was longview. Then there's an image from Longview but they don't give that as an option!

What's the timeline of Ordinary World? The opening scene, dated 1995, is supposed to be the time when Perry's band was becoming successful. Then the band went on hiatus because Perry had a daughter. But she's only about 10 years old in 2014 when the rest of the movie takes place.

You can look in the Green Day References thread for all that stuff. One I remember off the top of my head was from Marvel’s Jessica Jones. I think Jessica had a Dookie poster in her teenage bedroom season one. Oh and an episode of NBC’s Superstore last season had loads of Green Day shout outs. There are many more.

The Webstagrampage will show the same post as on Instagram, only on Webstagram you can right-click on one picture at a time from the same post, and open each of them in another tab. I particularly love the live version in Sydney from last year. And the little laughter Billie had when singing "while I'm young" When I first saw that, I was totally like: "dude, don't laugh, you have more energy and passion than me and I'm more than 2 times less old..." . But I love that little laughter anyways, it's adorable.
