This video is so badass : I love watching Green Day play songs from their first albums, the joy and energy they put in it, especially Billie, as if it was their first time playing it, or their last time, anyways with an always renewed pleasure. My favorite songs are for the most part among their latest half of albums, but seeing how Billie performs the older songs, especially some of them such as Basket Case and She, is something that brings a lot to my love and admiration for him. And never fails to brighten my day. Thank God this man exists.

Weezer's Green Day cover is bland (and also pathetically censored switching "fucked" for "hugged"). I feel like Rivers Cuomo doing something with Billie would equal blandness. I like Dave Grohl but I can't really imagine his voice with Billie's. Would be kind of interesting to hear but again...Foo Fighters aren't as interesting as Green Day. Collaborating with rock acts that are more generic sounding than themselves seems like it would result in less rather than more interesting music. See their collaboration with U2, or any other general rock act they've played with or written for.

Billie took so many photos with fans outside his hotel in Napoli! He looks so good! His eyes, his hair, his skin, how he dressed!

I just popped in to say that in all of the pics and videos from Cannes, Billie looks and sounds absolutely fantastic.

Why does their always have to be a rivalry? Why can't people just appreciate 2 different bands for different reasons. I think both of those bands are great!

Congrats! Try all the possibilties with your bosses so you're able to make the trip. Plan that your flight might take something like 12 hours to reach California (but I don't even know if there is any direct flight from France to LA... I just estimated the number of hours considering that Montreal is 6 hours away from both Paris and LA). Also, if you go up to Oakland, I wrote a post Elsewhere like a week ago that might help you. I'm planning to travel again to California next year. If the Santa Ana concert would have been next week, I would have tried to buy a ticket (even if money is a problem) because I have a week off from work. But the concert is 2 weeks later and I will be doing a replacement at my job when it will happen. Since everybody seems a bit down right now, enjoy some smiling Billie pictures:

Oh, you don't need to tell me twice! I feel this way every time I look at him. He's so amazing! Here's one of my videos from the Longshot show last night. He's so gorgeous and perfect!

Holy fuck! That was like the greatest night of my life!! I was able to get pretty close and I got tons of pictures and video! It was so amazing to be in his presence in such a small, intimate venue! God, I love him! There was one point in the show where he opened a bottle of water and chugged like a quarter of it, but then handed the bottle to the crowd. So... technically, I got to drink out of the same water bottle as Billie! He like shoved the whole water bottle top in his mouth too, so even though it was passed around quite a bit, he definitely made his mark on it. Here are a few pics from the show on my Instagram. I will be uploading all of them onto my Flickr soon too and the videos to YouTube. That might be a little longer, though. I agree, he has a beautiful name. Plus, it's original to have to have those 2 names match together.
