When, while you're waiting with your cat at the vetenarian clinic, you learned that the dog to your left, the one to your right and the one the secretary is talking about on the phone right in front of you are all named Rocky. I miss Billie's Rocky:3 points

This video is so badass : I love watching Green Day play songs from their first albums, the joy and energy they put in it, especially Billie, as if it was their first time playing it, or their last time, anyways with an always renewed pleasure. My favorite songs are for the most part among their latest half of albums, but seeing how Billie performs the older songs, especially some of them such as Basket Case and She, is something that brings a lot to my love and admiration for him. And never fails to brighten my day. Thank God this man exists.3 points

Weezer's Green Day cover is bland (and also pathetically censored switching "fucked" for "hugged"). I feel like Rivers Cuomo doing something with Billie would equal blandness. I like Dave Grohl but I can't really imagine his voice with Billie's. Would be kind of interesting to hear but again...Foo Fighters aren't as interesting as Green Day. Collaborating with rock acts that are more generic sounding than themselves seems like it would result in less rather than more interesting music. See their collaboration with U2, or any other general rock act they've played with or written for.2 points

Thing 2 and I were driving today & Bohemian Rhapsody came on the radio - don't know what the other motorist thought but we thought we were at a GD concert2 points

I love when Billie goes under Mike's legs! Their friendship is just so cute and sweet! They love being goofballs together.1 point

I could see either but think Billie and Rivers could be interesting. I still think Billie and a Pink could sound great together.1 point

The only Limp Bizkit song I could stand was a cover of Behind Blue Eyes. Linkin Park I loved and still love for days when I need some aggression-type music at the gym to work off stress and annoyances from my job.1 point

It was during the 21st CB tour in South America (in Peru maybe?). I don't think there was ever any explanation other than there's llamas there so he was on one Edit: It was in Colombia in 2010. It was posted on GD's twitter and yeah no explanation for it1 point

Wow this video, not sexy in the traditional /sweaty longshot way, but natural and gorgeous. And very long! https://www.gazzettadellavaldagri.it/billie-joe-armstrong-e-i-ferricelli-di-viggiano-video/ I love watching all the little glimpses towards 80, and the smiles and awww just everything! There are more photos and videos on their site if you head back to the home page too! As for Billie rolling pasta... He can come and roll mine any day1 point

I am so happy for Billie right now. He's the cutest little fluff nugget 🤗🤗🤗1 point

He just gave a speech at the honorary citizenship ceremony they held for him and he said this was one of best experiences of his life and he promises he will be back to see his family and friends again.1 point

He is looking oh so beautiful in all of the Italy pics. What a gorgeous man. He looks so happy in most of them too. I'm also kinda in love with this pic of him playing the harp:1 point

Wow his smile and gorgeous little face here I've missed natural Billie pics, on this girl's story, if you get there quick enough, there's some good stuff too1 point

Translated Billie Joe Armstrong is in Viggiano. It seemed impossible and instead the dream came true !!!1 point

Billie looks so good in those pictures from Italy . I'm happy that he finally went there.1 point

I'm so excited that Billie is in France and has played during the Cannes Lions festival yesterday with Joey and Jason. I was at work when I learned it and it was hard to keep working. I just wished I was living in Cannes and would have said to my boss: I'll be right back, Billie is playing across the street (or sort of).1 point

I'm more into black-haired Billie but I honestly think he should go blonde now, only so that we can tell which of the guys is him1 point
-
It always freaks me out when people have beards without the mustache. Why, Mike, why?!1 point
-
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's Kevin. It does look like Billie at first glance though. Is this why they started wearing matching shirts - to confuse the fuck out of us. It's funny because when we first found out who was in the Longshot, I found it amusing that they all had dark hair. With Green Day, we were used to one black-haired guy, one blonde-haired guy and one blue-haired guy (in the RevRad era at least). So with the Longshot, I remember thinking "Hey, they're matching" (well, kind of anyway). I didn't think that would be causing problems further down the line lol.1 point

Really? That's 100% Billie. His face shape, his hair, the tattoo on his chest. The smile is what really gives it aways for me. Only Billie has that kind of smile. I can see how you might not be able to tell right off the bat, though, what with the angle and shadow. You are not a terrible fan! Lol ^^^Oh my god that is the cutest shit ever!1 point

Collaboration with Bob Gruen? No one else curious about what this might be?1 point

Wow the guys are all posting green day related pictures today..maybe they are all ready for more Green Day!! If that is the case I am definitely excited but at the same time I'll miss the Longshot, what a wonderful side project.1 point

You may have a healthier outlook on it than I do but shows, and especially shows that are even better than others, are like a drug to me. The crash is brutal and I always crave more and stronger. Weirdly, I don’t get that rush from shows like Philly or from tattoos though I know a lot of people do. I get it from mosh pits though. But if I could relive Philly exactly as it was today I’d say no thanks. Any of the others though, gladly. Don’t get me wrong, I’m extremely grateful. It blows my mind to have been as lucky as I was with these shows. But that’s exactly why it’s hard. It doesn’t help that I’ve been ridiculously spoiled with my other top artist and regularly get to be close to him/them and so on. So it’s harder when you get a taste of that here but then it’s gone. But enough of my negativity! I removed the Santa Ana part of your post in my response because I’m trying to avoid thinking of it at all costs because I can’t go for the reasons you mentioned, haha, but just want to wish you all the luck in the world! Have fun!1 point

I see it more as before I hadn't got to be close to him, and now I have and I'll always have had that experience and know what it's like forever. Like I "achieved" the goal and anything else in the future is a bonus. Depends how you look at it I guess. It was intense because I saw my first ever GD show and then only one week later I was suddenly seeing FBHT with 24 hours notice and being right up close to Billie, and then I was ill (the most ill I've been in my life) for two weeks with bad flu that I caught there being delirious with fever dreams and stuff so the whole thing was like a crazy dream. I guess I can't imagine how anything could ever equal that so I don't even consider the possibility. Of course seeing Billie/GD etc in a small setting again would be awesome though, wouldn't say no to a London Longshot show.1 point

I kind of enjoy it , it's funny and I can think "I touched that guy hehehe". Plus there's always the high probability of seeing him again at the next GD tour even if it isn't quite as close.1 point
-
Clearly, Billie has the same smile today as his dad used to have on the first picture he posted.1 point
-
Come on, a few days ago you were saying you'll never get to attend a show with him performing, now you've just had that great experience seeing him from very close. Of course it will happen again. Take the 'shots' adage: sooner or later, probably sooner If my memory serves me well this is the picture Billie posted last year at Mike's birthday, it's still one of my favorites with he and Mike: awww1 point

I listen to a lot grunge bands, and it’s funny because they sing about a lot of the same subject matter. But GD far more frequently contrast the dark lyrics with high energy music and that makes all the difference!1 point

I love these two pics of our wonderful happy little dork. Those big beautiful eyes in the first one... so enticing. And that adorable smile (and gorgeous eye wrinkles) in the second one - he is absolutely glowing. I love seeing my boy this happy. Wow... he's just the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life. He's so perfect, I could cry. I love him so much.1 point

I guess he is between 5'6 and 5'7 and just rounds up to the highest by saying he's 5'7. But he could also be shorter, I'm 1 or 2 cm shorter than you, and I found him to look so tiny You look great! I'd say don't delete the post1 point

^^ why, when I put my hands in my hair like he does, it just loses volume, while in his case it regains its fluffiness. Oh well. I was about to ask you guys if you too think my new profile pic is a bit creepy... guess I got the answer. (I intend to keep it for a few days though to see if it ends up feeling more normal) So happy for you @Green Day In Seattle ! I wish you the best night witnessing this beauty !
