Not a sensitive issue, it's just that I'm not really the kind of person who could line up for long (for various reasons), and also my mam would want to come with me because she's a casual GD fan, but she's disabled and can't stand for very long, so we'd have to be in the seats anyway.

Here’s the booklet of the broadway album as you see this was recorded at Jingletown and Electric Lady (Jimi Hendrix’s studio in NY) where as AI was recorded at Ocean’s Way I’m assuming that the music was recorded at Jingletown and the vocals from the cast was at Electric Lady as it’d just make sense with the cast being in NY

I get that it would be kind of interesting just to see what their houses look like etc so I can see why you asked. But yeah if that info was posted on here/spread around it could really cause a lot of problems for them, it's important to respect their privacy. Even if it was widely known info (which I don't think it is) we don't like to take part in spreading private stuff about the band on GDC.

Same. And the frustrating part is when you do meet him 99% of the time it is rushed and other people are waiting and you can’t say anything. Even an hour over coffee would be a dream, something one on one without pressure where you can get to know each other (and maybe even have him remember you after). That’s the dream ❤️

I don't think Green Day have done it all already any more than Billie has. It's all his songs, a side project is cool for a change and so things can be done in a low key way when wanted but I don't see what the benefit of not doing future stuff as Green Day would be. If Billie has great new ideas no reason they can't be done with his main band, Green Day doesn't have to be a rehash (and hasn't been as far as I can see - is Rev Rad a rehash?).

Hooooooowwwww did I miss this?! The last time I checked this tour date was canceled! If I'd known I would have gone! Tickets were probably sold out already, though. To think he was only like an hour and half away from where I live and I didn't get to see him... This is my fault for not paying attention. I hate myself right now. Ugh, sorry I sound like such a whiner. I didn't mean it like that.

Was it?! If so, it was not on the dates! I probably wouldn't have heard about it soon enough to get tickets anyway. Yeah, I hope you're right! It's like one of my greatest wishes. I'm also kind of afraid of what would happen if I did, though. Would I just go braindead or would I be able to act like a normal human being? I'm sure it would only be for a very limited time and I don't know what I'd even say. There are a million questions I would want to ask him! Fuck, I wish there was a "hang out with Billie for a day" thing. Like, I want to meet him, but I also want to get to know him. Obviously that's probably something we all want. Haha! Man, that would be an absolute dream come true! Literally. I've had tons of dreams where I either know him already and we're friends or I meet him and then it goes on from there. Usually the former. Look at this beautiful booooooooyyyyy!!!!

Ahh fair enough. I've been told that as far as getting a good view seats can be very good though. Down in the crowd you can have issues of people blocking your view and won't be able to see every member of the band at any given moment but in seats you get to see the whole band the whole show and don't miss anything. Might not be as close as standing can be but seats do have their advantages. When you see Billie walk out on stage and get to watch him play all evening it's just amazing, it'll blow you away wherever you are.

I get feeling curious about where and how they live but fans really need to understand boundaries. Treat them like people, not sensations. It's really creepy. Also, even if we knew, we wouldn't be allowed to tell you.
