Have I mentioned that I love him. The fact that he genuinely values the short amount of time he gets to spend with fans is so heart-warming. The part about him being hit with a guitar is Sad! though.

So, it's been a while since I've posted in here, but... it's confession time. Billie jumped on top of me in the pit at the DC show during Turn Me Loose! I haven't found any videos of it yet (just got home yesterday from my trip) but from what I can recall, when the crowd pushed him up and got him steady, his waist was basically propped on my left shoulder and I had a great view of everyone around me stroking his legs and, um, inner thighs... It was just the strangest experience. Like, I'm 100-percent confident I (unintentionally) touched his butt when we broke his fall. Guess I can check that off my fangirl bucket list?

I can't stop laughing at his hair in this - he has like three random tufts of hair sticking up and they bounce every time he moves and it looks so funny. Shit, I've just realised it's 7am and I've been up all night scouring Instagram for pics/videos of Kevin and Billie. What the fuck is this band doing to me?

Me too.... Don't see it ending any time soon... I mean ever! I used to like them as a band, then love them as a band... Then love Billie and the band! That's been increasing more rapidly ever since 21CB tour. I started seeing Billie and Green Day as separate things at Milton Keynes. Now, love him, love Green Day, love everything he touches/is involved with. It's crazy. There was a moment at a Rev Rad gig last year, where myself and a friend turned to each other (several songs in) and said, oh shit we should really watch the other guys and take some photos of them too... Sorry Mike, Tre, the Jasons and Jeff! Other people are amused at me/us. The person who despairs the most I think is my husband, who knows his place (bless him) and will be staying home for a week with our children this summer when I head to Oakland... Oopsie! I definitely got it bad too!

Just saw this pic in the fan photos thread and wanted to post it here because that adorable smile on our boy's face brings so much joy to my heart. Just look at how darn cute he is with his perfect chompers and gorgeous chubby cheeks.

Also, according to this person, Billie's way of recovering from shows is to lay down on the floor wearing just his undies. Now I can't get that wonderful image out of my head. ^^^ And he looks so tiny in that pic. Look at his little hand.

I'm very happy you actually made it to a concert! Last thing I read of you about it is that you couldn't get a ticket on time. But you made it, congrats! I'm gonna leave tomorrow, heading directly to the airport from work. It's nearly 10 pm here and I still have to pack my suitcase. I won't be taking my computer and as I only check on here with my computer... probably won't be checking on here until end of next week after I come back. I hope I have a photo with Billie, my friend and I to share here then. I'm sure I will have plenty to fangirl on from you guys... meanwhile, have some Billie and Mike. I'm certain I'm gonna come back as a Billie/Kevin fan but at the same time I've never missed Billie/Mike so much. See you fangirls! I'm so glad he does this. I had the split second thought in Baltimore in a similar situation of "is it okay if I touch his butt right now? Guess I don't really have a choice because he's sitting on me" and I had to help push him up. It's so nice of him to give us an unavoidable excuse.

From this angle, it is hard to see. From where I was at the concert, Kevin kissed Billie's nose before Billie kissed him on the mouth. Seeing Billie's smile just before kissing Kevin was so awesome.

Hey now, he's remained true to Billie. Whereas Billie tried kissing Jeff in that one show. Who's the real slut? (I say that with love.)

I went to see the excellent Bryan Adams last night with my family. About 45 minutes before he came on stage GDs Holiday was played on the mixtape! I was sitting there tapping my feet and bopping along!

I kinda get what you're saying, but it's a little different for me. I tend to get more excited about Billie/GD than my friends do about their bands, so I always feel like I'm shoving Billie in their face more than they're doing it to me, and because of that I always feel like I have to tone my fangirling down so that I'm not being annoying. As I result of this, I don't think they realise the full extent to how much I love Billie, so they're not as careful about not making nasty/hurtful comments about him in front of me. Another thing is that my friends tend to go through phases rather than having one constant obsession like me with Billie. So if they do shove their people in my face, it's a different person each time, whereas with me it's always Billie (and I'm pretty sure it always will be Billie). And the other issue I have with my friends views on Billie is that they think less of him because of his age. My friend group are all still in our teens, so people think it's extremely weird that I'm completely head over heels in love with a 46 year old man. Most of my friends don't give a fuck about him or they don't know enough about him to form an opinion, so they judge him purely on his age. I have only one friend who has ever shown any interest in him - she watched the BOBD music video and said he was sexy as fuck (but she hadn't seen any recent photos of him). Then she found out he was now in his mid-40s and she said (and I quote) "ewwww... he'll be all wrinkly now." So I showed her a RevRad era pic of him and she said he was really unattractive. Like, he barely looks any different now than he did in the BOBD video. He has a few extra lines on his face and some grey hairs (which are usually dyed anyway), so what? How the fuck does that make him go from "sexy as fuck" to "really unattractive"? Judging people by their age is pretty much the same as judging people by their race or gender, so I don't know why it's still seen as acceptable, but that's a different story not for this thread. I just don't understand how people can find that amazing man any less beautiful just because he's a little older, it doesn't change anything. Maybe it's just because personally I'm a fan of those lovely grey hairs, but I will never understand that mentality. Oh and all I have to say in reference to his short little arms is this:

I'm sorry to derail this Longshot train, I just need to get this out and see if anyone can relate. I just got back from a weekend trip with three of my friends and two of them are obsessed with the K-Pop band BTS. I don't mind BTS, but it got a little annoying when they were talking about them constantly and fangirling over them and trying to get me to like them as much as they do. Neither of them particularly like Green Day, so having them always trying to get me to like another band when they don't really like my favorite band was irritating. We also discussed looks. The members of BTS are okay, but obviously I prefer Billie. When I say that they're just like "BUT OMG LOOK AT HIM! How can you not like him?!" and show me a picture of one of the BTS members (which again, I think they're alright looking and I've told them this). I told them that I could do the same thing with Billie - Like how can you not see how beautiful he is? But they're just like "Eh, he looks weird. I wouldn't say he's hot." I'm not sure if any of this made sense, but I tried my best to put it into words. I know it shouldn't bother me so much that my friends don't think Billie is attractive or like Green Day very much, but it does - especially when they keep trying to get me to love BTS even though I already do mildly enjoy them. Do any of you have friends who don't really appreciate Green Day or Billie, but try to get you to fangirl over something they like? How can you not find this attractive?!

I used to be more open about my love of GD and Billie, but I'm a lot more cautious with that now because I'm afraid of negative comments and insults. My friends do know that I love him as I have said things like "I think he's the most beautiful person in the world." But I definitely don't advertise my obsession like I used to. And yeah, I don't get what you're friend was saying. Yes, Billie is 46, but he doesn't look like it. He's barely changed at all over the past 12+ years. One of these friends of mine even commented that he has a "boyish" face. But she doesn't find that attractive. Anyway, I could go be a lot more intense around them about my passion, but I'm not because they don't feel the same and I don't want to get hurt. It's difficult not having friends in my non-internet social life who appreciate how I feel. Dear god, he's so good looking! I love this picture!

After revrad came out I was watching gd videos with a friend who's a casual fan, she mostly listens to the singles, so we watched BOBD and the AI stuff, 21 Guns and then I showed her Still Breathing because I assumed she'd like it. She did like it but she was like "what's different about him here? Is he without makeup?" I was shocked - there's a 7 year gap between SB and Guns!

He had some for his wedding vow renewal ceremony a few years ago and he does like to keep his hair natural/low maintenance when he's on a break so it's always possible! I think it looked pretty good last time, cute that he and Adrienne had matching dreads

If you set standards like that I do think it'll work. That's the main issue people seem to have is filming entire shows which I agree is really shitty. Still I like taking a few photos for my writing or even just for me. I try not to be a dick about it. Plus I like dancing at shows! I dont want my phone out for that!
