I'm sorry to derail this Longshot train, I just need to get this out and see if anyone can relate. I just got back from a weekend trip with three of my friends and two of them are obsessed with the K-Pop band BTS. I don't mind BTS, but it got a little annoying when they were talking about them constantly and fangirling over them and trying to get me to like them as much as they do. Neither of them particularly like Green Day, so having them always trying to get me to like another band when they don't really like my favorite band was irritating. We also discussed looks. The members of BTS are okay, but obviously I prefer Billie. When I say that they're just like "BUT OMG LOOK AT HIM! How can you not like him?!" and show me a picture of one of the BTS members (which again, I think they're alright looking and I've told them this). I told them that I could do the same thing with Billie - Like how can you not see how beautiful he is? But they're just like "Eh, he looks weird. I wouldn't say he's hot." I'm not sure if any of this made sense, but I tried my best to put it into words. I know it shouldn't bother me so much that my friends don't think Billie is attractive or like Green Day very much, but it does - especially when they keep trying to get me to love BTS even though I already do mildly enjoy them. Do any of you have friends who don't really appreciate Green Day or Billie, but try to get you to fangirl over something they like? How can you not find this attractive?!

I just love that they’re kissing now 😘 It started as a joke because of that FBHT kiss we were talking about it but I never thought they’d deliver (even though it’s much more chaste now while sober — nothing will ever equal that drunken tongue wrestle). They really are cute as hell. When Billie teases Mike, Mike acts like he’s trying to avoid it usually, but Kevin is just as affectionate.

How cute are Billie's little legs and feet in that livestream on the Longshot account tho. I nearly died of cuteness overload when he put his tiny little feet up against the window. He's so fucking adorable. Of course his face looked extremely beautiful too, but those little feet stole the show for me this time. And I say it every time, but his speaking voice is absolute heaven. Hearing him talk in livestreams feels so different to hearing him talk in interviews or at shows. It's so casual and I feel like he's talking to us as if we're his friends. It makes me feel really close to him.

That kiss happened during the solo of Love is For Losers, where they both get close to each other; so it may become a usual thing there! Billie is first like not doing anything... And then when Kevin starts to lend back: no, no, here, have a kiss! For me, Billie teasing Mike is like Kevin teasing Billie, which means it's mostly Kevin trying to get something from Billie as it's mostly Billie trying to get something from Mike, only yeah Billie gives up more easily than Mike

I just can't get over his little feet in that livestream. Every time I look at them, it kills me a little more. They're just too adorable. Sorry for going on about it, but I just can't get over how adorable they are. They are so fucking perfect. They're so cute that I'll even forgive him for wearing matching socks. Also, shoutout to how he has his trouser legs rolled up inwardly rather than outwardly - the only other person I know who does that is my grandmother.😂

Me too.... Don't see it ending any time soon... I mean ever! I used to like them as a band, then love them as a band... Then love Billie and the band! That's been increasing more rapidly ever since 21CB tour. I started seeing Billie and Green Day as separate things at Milton Keynes. Now, love him, love Green Day, love everything he touches/is involved with. It's crazy. There was a moment at a Rev Rad gig last year, where myself and a friend turned to each other (several songs in) and said, oh shit we should really watch the other guys and take some photos of them too... Sorry Mike, Tre, the Jasons and Jeff! Other people are amused at me/us. The person who despairs the most I think is my husband, who knows his place (bless him) and will be staying home for a week with our children this summer when I head to Oakland... Oopsie! I definitely got it bad too!

Yeah it is the back row and you can see the luggage behind him in the storage area but also there are bags in the back seat next to him so when he stretches out his legs are on top of some luggage. 😄

Most of my friends (all of them who weren't already fans when I met them) don't care about Billie / think he's weird. I don't know if any of them have a fangirling over someone else equal to mine over Billie, so I wouldn't say I was pushed into absolutely liking something else, although they do show me artists / bands they like and when I say "that's okay" but nothing more, they're like "seriously?!" So I guess i understand your feelings. I think maybe your friends can feel the same as you, if they're totally in love with that other band, they may be a bit annoyed that you don't share that fandom with them as you're a bit annoyed they don't share yours. That being said, I personally, deeply think that being a fan of Billie is not the same as being a fan of someone else. I have kept the same level of fangirling (or more exactly it has kept increasing) for the past almost 2 years and I know it's never gonna stop. Several of my friends have told me "you're gonna drop him off at some point". When I hear that, I think it's probably what happens to them and their beloved artists, the flame loses its intensity. I really have the impression non-GD fans are irritated (or envious) of GD fans because our flame is unlikely to decrease. As for me, he saved my life and continues everyday. All my happiness is related to what he has brought me. So stay honest with your friends about what you like, let them not like Billie if they don't, keep fangirling as you do even in front of them... and just consider they don't have the luck to have fallen into the Billie fandom. I may feel a bit awkward when people seem to be annoyed by my fangirling, but everyday I have 1,000 times to notice how lucky I am to be a fan of his. It's not so bad if most of my friends don't share that. The most important is I'm a Billie fan and it's the best thing that ever happened to me.

At the SWMRS concert in Montreal, back in december, the crowd was insane. Probably one of the worst crowds I ever witnessed. I really do hope it will not be the same thing with all the other Longshot concerts.
