I couldn't agree more!!! If the KFAD haters can live without THIS, it's their problem. I can't :7 points

Have you guys ever noticed that the Earth is flat in Green Day lyrics? Lines "standing on the edge of the world" or "I walked to the end of the world" suggest that in the universe of GD lyrics, the Earth is flat.7 points

Did anyone see Billie’s comments about what his rapper name is on his soundcloud post? 😂😂7 points

Was watching some footage of RevRad shows on Youtube today, and it made me realise how much I want KFAD to stay in the setlist. For starters, it used to be my fave song ever (before Bang Bang overtook it), so I'd be severely upset to see the actual song itself go. And all of the shenanigans that go on with it are just irreplaceable. The whole thing is just so fascinating. The dressing up, Freese's sax solos/Billie's kazoo, Billie's speeches, having Tre sing and Billie play drums, the overall goofiness - pure entertainment. And is there really anything cuter than Billie rolling around on the floor during his speech/the medley. I can understand why people don't like it/are over it by now, and I wouldn't mind if GD cut the medley down in future, but I'd be absolutely devastated if they took the entire thing off the setlist before I got the chance to see my first GD show.5 points

There's a street in Chicago called Belle Plaine. When I went past it today, I read it as Bellie Plaine. In honor of that-3 points

I've been randomly thinking (ha!) how lucky we are that our favorite band is Green Day. Not a single year goes by that we don't get at least a movie, a show, a song, a musical. They are so generous and fun, and I can't describe how happy their career has made my life. I've been typing in Mike Dirnt on youtube and finding all sorts of cool stuff. His new beard look while he mails stuff to the white house. A compilation of all his vocals from Green Day and The Network. But think about if your favorite band WASN'T Green Day. Think about.......THIS>>>> If your favorite band was Puddle of Mudd, you wouldn't get fun side project and and treats to tide you over between garbage.....I mean records. Instead, you'd get: The lead singer arrrested for beating up his wife. Lead singer arrested for breaking into previous home because despite being a millionaire, he can't pay the mortgage (drugs and liquor ARE more fun than having a roof over your head!) Lead singer arrested for dancing on top of airport property. Lead singer arrested for public intoxication. Lead singer arrested for disorderly conduct. Lead singer kicked out of various public places. Lead singer too drunk to play a show or even stand up. Band walking off stage because lead singer is too wasted to stand up, much less play a show. A constantly revolving band line-up because nobody can stand this douche bag lead singer. and then NINE YEARS of no new material whatsoever, but don't worry. They will post BS lines on the internet about recording new music and the new record coming very soon" . And then not following through . *****In the bands defense though, they do have some good tunes and they were on top of their game when I saw them live in 2005 (the same year I saw Green Day now that I think of it). And in my list of favorite bands, they do squeek in at #84. But man, what a trainwreck it has become since then. I saw them at a festival about 5 or 6 years later and it was awful. People were leaving in swarms to escape the horrible noises coming from this jerk. But hey, keep your head up Puddle fans. I'm sure Album Seven will released eventually.3 points

I’m starting to feel sorry for Mike and Tre everytime I see Billie having the time of his life with the Longshot and those guys posting pictures sitting around the house. Don’t tell me they’re not bored.2 points

Joey posted an insta story around his birthday thanking Mike, his godfather, for his birthday gift. I’m sure someone posted a screengrab of it ok tumblr, I just can’t find it right now.2 points

If you come to Montreal, we can meet. I will try to buy a ticket for the concert, but I'm affraid it will sell out so fast. Les Foufounes électriques is a small venue and, for the REV Rad tour, GD sold out the Bell Centre, a huge venue, very fast. I'm scared. I want a ticket so badly. Anyway, back to fangirling: I know I already posted this picture elsewhere, but... Billie taking a selfie in a public restroom. His hand, his eyes, his face, his hair... everything!2 points

21CB is pretty lackluster for me. There are only about 6 songs on it that I don't skip regularly. The other songs certainly aren't bad, they just don't do much for me personally.2 points

His hip tattoos are my favorite, but I actually like the 2014 Rev one where he was starting to get a little bit of a gut and you could see the 80 tattoo starting to turn sideways. It's cute.1 point

I used ezgif to lower the speed of a gif I made on a another site, it's the first time I try this, apparently something went wrong for linking it here. Here it is with normal speed : Thanks a lot! J'aimerais beaucoup te rencontrer! I have to check the price of a plane ticket to Montréal. Also, I found this site for the Longshot show in Montréal where it says "Billets : 27.50$ à l'avance / 32$ à la porte. Des frais de service additionnels peuvent s'appliquer en ligne." A the door, so it could mean we could buy tickets just before the show? Or does it only mean we physically get them just before the show but we still have to buy them in advance?1 point

This is why I can't believe it isn't that . His name is diesel AND it sounds like he says diesel in a song, this is too much of a coincidence1 point

I love that no matter how big Billie Joe and Green Day gets, they always go back to the intimate, within reach of the crowd gigs.1 point

Ditto as we booked about a month ago to go in July! However.... The more realistic prediction of when there'll be a quake is 0-75 years from now. So I'll take my chances. Grabbing some numbers and badly manipulating them...more lazy journalism!1 point

I mean, earthquakes are a fact of life in California and they're as well prepared for them as can be. I'm sure it's true that the likelihood of them happening goes up and down but the headline kind of sounds like fear mongering to me, it's a very vague prediction that it might happen at some time in the future but no idea when. That's pretty much always the case in an area affected by earthquakes.1 point

I'm not very comfortable with so many videos having been taken, and posted, of each song, of all the gigs, when Billie repeated he doesn't want that, here ... but since the videos are out, not gonna lie, I've been binge watching them, and with that sight, there are plenty of fangirlworthy parts. So I made these gifs: Sweaty Billie + earring = hawt ... @Jane Lannister thanks for your post in the Longshot thread where we can't post anymore, I didn't get a ticket, they were sold out in literally a few seconds, I couldn't even click on the "buy tickets" button and add one in my cart, even though I was there exactly on time... But I'm determined to try again and buy a ticket for one of the shows that were announced in May. Hope i'll be quick enough this time... I don't even know for which gig, if the tickets to all of them go on sale at the same time, it'll be harsh! But if I'm very lucky and get a ticket, to any of these shows, I'll buy the plane ticket right away and maybe try to meet someone else from GDC there? It would be awesome, and I'd be less afraid to get lost. I'm absolutely not used to anything in the USA1 point

UPDATE: Watched the full thing now and DAMN he is so beautiful. The hair, the eyes, the skin, the lips, the chompers, the earring - all just complete perfection. Also, as well as the running, I'm kinda mesmerized by him jumping off the thing at the start and the close-up of his tiny little feet hitting the floor. Which is then followed by a close-up of his beautiful hands as he plays guitar. I could watch him play guitar forever and never get tired. So basically, I love every shot that has at least one mm of Billie in it. Side note: It took me about half an hour to type this because he's so beautiful that my hands are shaking, so I can't type properly.1 point

I was listening to rev rad and I really like forever now😄 I'm so proud of Billie☺😁😙1 point

I feel the exact opposite. In fact there's probably at least 10 songs from that album that I'd rank amongst the absolute best Green Day songs to date and none of the songs, even the "weaker" songs are ones that I'd skip. The songs that people deem bad or lackluster are songs that I think are too over-hated1 point
