So I just went to Google Billie, but as I was typing his name into the search bar, I was thinking about something else so my mind was completely elsewhere. Then I looked down at my phone and saw that I'd just typed the word 'sexy' into the search bar instead of his name without realising.7 points

Okay, so I'm away/offline for two days and all the good shit happens. First of all, the Mean Tweets thing. I love these guys, they never fail to make me smile. And Billie looked absolutely ravishing at the Coverups show. So beautiful, he brought tears to my eyes. I've missed that extraordinary man so much. He looked truly stunning. That beautiful, smiley face. He looked even happier and more radiant than he usually does. His hair was perfect. And the outfit was on point, showing off his delightful neck. His arms looked huge, even through the blazer. And I think this show is the best footage/pics we have of the earring so far. I love his adorable little ears so much, so I'm glad we finally have good quality pics of him with the earring in. He is exquisite. And I agree with @Marki. , Mike looked so hot too, even with the beard. And totally fangirling over them playing Tubbies. My all-time fave song ever. And Billie's voice tho. I heard that they'd played it and I got super excited, then I remembered that Tre probably wouldn't be playing with them so I got a bit sad, then I saw that Tre actually did play with them and I almost died of happiness. I'm ecstatic rn, this has absolutely made my entire year.Man, these guys have the best surprises. I love them so fucking much. I'm so glad that they had the idea of the Coverups - something to keep them busy in the off-time, something that makes them happy, and something for us to fangirl over. They really do have the best ideas ever. My little geniuses.6 points

I thought rhyming parachute with pair of shoes was actually kind of clever ๐ง4 points

Can't wait to see the pics of my boy at the coverups show tonight. His hair (both on his head and his face) can't have changed much in two days, but I can't wait to see what he's wearing. I hope he goes for a sexy look like he did on Tuesday, but changes it up a bit.3 points

So much to fangril about today after a long, long dry spell, I'm freaking out (in a good way) And Billie's look at the Coverups show was stunning. Can't stop staring at this pic Edit: OK I had to take it as my profile pic3 points

Just what I needed: new pics of Billie! He looks awesome. In the case of Mike... sorry, but I'm unable to get used to see the beard. He looks like an old sea captain.2 points

I have a feeling it takes a lot of work for him to look like he just woke up But the show last night put him in a good mood for sure if heโs brought his face out of hiding and is interacting on IG again. I hope it lasts.2 points

I'm sure it's just a matter of him taking it off and forgetting to put it back on. I do that all the time with jewelry. that or guys tend to lose or break rings quite often.1 point

not speculating anything but in all the photos from the most recent cover-ups show, Billie doesn't seem to be wearing his wedding ring. its such an odd sight, it's like removing one of his tattoos Billie and Adie are relationship/marriage goals(as is Mike&Britt, Tre&Sara) My favorite recent discovery is noticing him taking his ring off at wood stock and giving to someone to keep it safe1 point

I will admit that as soon as he said "November Rain", the song was in my head. I thought his Family Guy voice was hilarious, annoying, but hilarious.1 point

I hope it lasts as well. His live stream last night before the show had me laughing so much. Love these boys.1 point

He knows when itโs time to cut the crap and give the fangirls what they want.1 point

That's a good question, maybe it's both I haven't fangirled this much in a long while1 point

I totally agree about Mike though I'm really not a fan of that beard, ugh. Jason looks kinda hot too. I don't know if the boys all looked extraordinarily handsome that night or if it's the lack of fangirl-worthy new material in the last couple of months that makes me feel that way1 point

Must be from when they played on Jimmy Kimmel in 2016 Slightly disappointed by the lack of fabulous costume but Billie is looking very good.1 point

It was raffled off. It said The Coverups across the back. I wish theyโd sell at least T-shirts online Iโd buy one in a minute (you hear that Billie? Merch!)1 point

I feel you... still: Yeah, RevRad describing a pre-Trump world but everything is even truer now (I got that you made that point too)... To me, RevRad could as well have been written right now. But as things are, now we are waiting for a new album, and that's all the better. Also, I don't agree with revolution being supposed to "come from the left"... It's not what you're saying, but to me that's just another open door to (possible) division. A revolution that's politically colored will have the effect of making a good fraction of people left behind, those who won't listen to politics anymore, and those who won't listen to the opposite side. Still, a desire for better could be inspired by some politics, but perhaps more likely by stuff that's not political, like Green Day's music, for instance, which can allow revolution, in the sense it can really make people change, thinking in a newer and deeper way and care for each other. Living their own revolution in their personal life, and aiming at preserving basic human values that go beyond opinions, left and right. I don't think of RevRad as safe or not safe, and that being a diss or not; there are other features to the album, which "experimental" is not the first word that comes in mind to describe, and that make it the most unique album to me. I don't think the trilogy is an attempt to take further what was done with AI and CB, and I never thought of it as unfocused (I can see why you're saying it though). The trilogy shows how the worst can be the best, the ugly the beautiful. Definitely!1 point

I think that RevRad being written before Trump's election is important to note. I know I already feel like we are living in an entirely different world than 2 years ago, when GD were writing and producing revrad. The album feels safe, but coming off the Obama years, there was a safe feeling at the time. The album has an essence that change is going to come, and desire for that revolution, but in real life, the revolution went the wrong way, and the wrong side won. We aren't living in troubled times anymore, we're living in the freaking upsidedown. However, the last year or so has been filled with grassroot efforts, protest, and resistance, and I think Billie is going to have something to say/reflect back about what is happening right now. Artistically, I can't see him sitting on the sidelines without some sort of societal commentary. So I think whatever comes next musically, lyrically, creatively will come from this place. It's hard to say if it will be the masterpiece we're all looking for, but I don't think he writes his music for us; like any artist, it comes from within, and once it's out there, then I guess we will see. I know I'm looking forward to it.1 point
