Morning ladies (and gentlemen). Here's a beautiful pic of our beautiful boy to start your day off right: I'm totally on an arm kick today. I can't stop staring at them. They are absolute works of art - much more appealing than anything you'd ever find in any Art gallery imo.7 points

The Dollar Tree store by the hospital my dad's a patient in currently has a light problem, so at night, instead of all of the letters DOLLAR TREE being lit, the lights spell out DO TRE. I keep forgetting to get a damn picture. Edit: @Afflejack it's Southland, if you get over there!5 points

@Kuromignonne I think it depends of the computer. I was unable to see the first pictures you added when I was at home. But, in the school's computer lab, I can see them. Now that I'm back at home, I can't see them anymore. Anyway, I found this gif on Pinterest. Enjoy it!4 points

Idk if it works for anyone else, but what I do when I'm really missing them is look back at all of their instagram posts through the years. I spent an entire Saturday a few weeks ago just looking through their old instagram posts, and it really helped me while I was missing them like crazy. Billie's instagram page is the best for this, imo. Just reliving some of those sweet moments that he posted felt so magical. It's just like taking a mini journey through the past 5 years of his life. Almost every single one of his posts made me feel some kind of overwhelming emotion, whether the post was political, dorky, ranty, a post about music, a post about family/friends, or a post specifically addressing fans. His words always get me right in the heart because he's so passionate about everything he loves and everything he believes in. And the things he shares with us on instagram makes me feel so close to him. With most celebs, I feel like it's us and them. But not with Billie. He's very eager to connect with us. My favourite instance is that time he posted a location and said that the first person to meet him there would get the drum kit he demoed the trilogy on - that was such a cool thing to do. I also loved the #mynewband and #artandillegal campaign things he had going. But yeah, when I read through his old posts, I feel like it's not us and him, it's just us. He's one of us, and I really do feel close to him (even though he lives approx. 5,136 miles away from me). One of the other things I love most about his instagram is that most of his captions are like a tiny glimpse into that tremendous brain of his. I love how he just shares his most random thoughts with us. And he just seems so genuine on instagram too. His posts make me so happy, and I love the fact that he makes so many people happy just by being himself.2 points

Agreed. It's always hilarious to me how many "punk purists" complain that GD or someone else isn't punk and their argument basically means that The Clash aren't punk either.2 points

Actually I've always thought that song is underrated. I have fond memories of listening to it when I was like 15.2 points

It looks professional though (even if in selfie style). He's all styled, has make up on and the photo has had effects added. Not sure what it has to do with the caption about Oakland coffee. If it's not from something to do with promoting that maybe it was taken for some other future thing and he just wanted an excuse to post it because he looks good in it2 points

So apparently I go to forbidden places to find pictures of Billie the funniest is that I can see this one, even now, where I posted it. I don't know if I could find it on another website since it's a Getty. Maybe I should try to put it on my Instagram and share it here, never too late to start Do you see these ones ? (other Getty that asked me a bit of research)2 points

I had also been enjoying that one. The new one makes him look about 3 feet tall . Also I enjoy how it has the band member's birthdays listed along with public holidays (and naturally a picture of whichever birthday boy it is for that month lmao).2 points

No it's okay @jengd you didn't cause any upset. I was joking, just ignore me. I was just being overdramatic because I have a little bit of OCD that makes me need to leave certain products as they were when I bought them. So there'll be no ripping or tidily taking out for me. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Anyway, back to fangirling... Look at this beautiful radiant smile. Breathtaking.2 points

March... School, homeworks and job... in other words, having no life. It's kind of very hard to have no free time for myself, but atleast I am not waisting my time waiting for news from GD. It's sad, but I'm used to not get news from my favorite bands (can you imagine this: I've spend the last 17 years waiting for real news from another band and it finally happenned 2 months ago). Anyway, I really miss Billie on social medias. I even miss his puppet. It's like a friend is missing.1 point

Well, I fell down the rabbit hole that is green day porn (Instagram account) yesterday. So that's occupying some of my time. And my birthday is this month, so they have to do something for that. Preferably a Foxies show.1 point

I can’t believe February is over already. We haven’t had a Coverups show since January. Other than Billie’s birthday, a teaser pic from Otis that likely means nothing and some talk about his ancestry research there hasn’t been a whole lot going on this month. It’s been a little over three months since the tour ended and their last new release. We don’t know if the three have been together to play at all. Mike seems busy peddling coffee and Tre is doing all sorts of things in SoCal. So what do we think March will bring? I’m prepared for the fact that it might be even quieter. With each passing month they feel more distant to me, as I struggle to find other things to fill my time. I listen to loads of music, watch videos, read stuff, but I still miss my band. What are you all doing to pass the time?1 point

Perhaps the company that commercializes the vinyls (it must be Warner?) can be contacted via its website, to indicate the problems? It seems weird to me because if issues with GD vinyls are a recurrent thing the band should have been aware of it from now, and would have done something about it...1 point

Yes. And I laughed so hard at the first one that I started coughing.1 point

When you decide that your first child will be called Billie before you even decide if you actually want kids or not.1 point

It appears to be a selfie and Billie and Mike both liked and commented on it.1 point

I have no idea why, but I can now see the first one, and the first one from your last post @Kuromignonne but not the second one. The Getty site is a pain!1 point

I don’t mean to sound cynical, but having a connection like that is good for a small town too. Viggiano is already all over Italian media for it. It’s a friendly overture for sure but there is definitely a benefit on both sides here as a motivator.1 point

I love how they/the Mayor approached him I don't think this would happen with every town... (I bet if Billie found out his ancestors were from where I live, nobody would do anything like that, lol)1 point

I'm so glad that this is going forward. It's so exciting. I'm so happy for him.1 point

I'm just gonna jump on the bandwagon and say I love Warning too, and I also think AI is punk af. Most people really disagree with that last one...1 point

Looks like Billie and the Mayor of Viggiano have been in touch. When he gets there they plan to gift him with honorary citizenship ❤️1 point

I knew you joking, I was too, just forgot to show it any way - doh! I totally get what you mean about keeping stuff in tact. So sad that February is such a short month for that gorgeous pic!1 point
-
Sorry, didn't mean to cause upset, when I say rip, you could easily, tidiliy take it out but maybe @Kuromignonne has the answer, we should all have bought two of them! I so love the outfits for March! I'm getting a permissions message to @Kuromignonne's pic sadly.1 point

*Gasp* I could never do that. I must keep it in pristine condition. He looks so tiny in the March one. His little legs look so short and it's adorable. I still can't see the pic and the link isn't working for me either. It says there's a server error or something. Is anyone else getting that?1 point

Oh God, that pic of Joey in Tre's post is bringing back the memories of Billie's moustache now.1 point

I wasn't so much into that song until the concert I went to during which Billie picked up a flag I was holding with a friend, it was during Are We The Waiting, and we got to get it back. I was totally overjoyed then, I can't express how much. Since then I got into this song and absolutely love it. One half of the flag now lies next to my pillow, the other half is with my friend Here is the only video I could find about it, the sight is not extraordinary, but it immediately awakes my memories from that day the flag part starts at 1:51 (I didn't put the link directly to it because the beginning of the video is as well beautiful). Also, I don't know if it can be seen very well here, but before Billie asked for the flag Mike was the first to point to it, I thank him a lot for that:1 point

Ages ago my mum heard the line "it's like a throbbing toothache of the mind" in Give Me Novacaine and said "uhh yeah that's called a headache" and I still always think of that when I hear it.1 point
