  1. I've spent Valentine's Day on my own, but with this adorable man, who has illuminated my life, constantly in my heart: PS : no mean to spam (others have just been posting) but this picture is just so... you know...

  2. @G-L-O-R-I-A already said it the other day but it's nice how proud Billie is of his family history

  3. I've just realised that I've been so busy and so caught up in the Valentine's Day mood that I've barely even looked at my favourite little angel all day. So before I go to bed, here's a few pics of my little sunshine and his breathtakingly radiant smile. God, he's so exceedingly beautiful. I'm absolutely bursting with love and admiration and respect and gratitude for him. He'll always be my little sunshine. Same. But who needs a man when you have this wonderfully exquisite human being in your heart and mind at all times? I certainly don't.

  4. When you hear somebody say the word 'green', and you think of the following in this order: - The name of your favourite band. - A certain frontman's beautiful green eyes. - A certain music video which features lots of green paint/slime. - Weed. - Finally, the actual colour green.

  5. This year's line-up does not intrigue me at all. Sum 41 is the only act I would like to see, which is a shame because this was the first year that I was actually considering going to Leeds. And Dua Lipa. They haven't had a decent line-up since 2015 imo. Man, I really hope GD do it within the next few years. I need them to play some kind of festival/show in Britain that I can actually get to, or there's actually no point in me being alive.

  8. I apologize if this isn't thread-worthy or has been done already, but I thought it could be fun. Are there ever any instances that occur in your daily life where someone says something and you immediately start singing a Green Day song in your head? Or if you see a sign you think of a song? I'll give a few examples of what I mean: -While watching the NFL playoffs today, the commentators have described a play as "Bang, bang" a few times, so I immediately started singing the song in my head. -There's a street I pass called Longview Ave and I always start humming the opening bass line -My brother took a picture from Gate 86 at an airport the other day and told me, "There's no return." -I will sing Give Me Novocaine in my head while the dentist is drilling my teeth -Same goes for Blood, Sex and Booze when things get kinky in the bedroom These are just a few examples of what I'm getting at and I'm curious if anyone else had things like this happen in their own crazy Green Day brains.

  9. Here is a video from THAT show...but no Billie onstage ( the only one who could look similar is obviously Eden Galindo )

  12. My brother used to think "she's the salt of the earth" was "she's a soldier of the earth". The whole chorus is a misheard lyrics nightmare

  14. I wouldn't put it in my top 10 (neither in my top 20, probably) but nevertheless, it's one of the GD songs that move me the most. Musically, it's rather subtle than blasting, but what touches me the most are some lyrics: Gagging on a souvenir / lodged to fill another year for example... I think of it as one of the purest and deepest songs Billie has written. Perhaps to me it has a too desperate sound to be one of my favorites (while I easily sing along to Lazy Bones and Restless Heart Syndrome for instance... weird)

  15. I used to think the lyric "She's a saint" was "She's insane"

  18. In Letterbomb, I've always misheard the line "Where will all the martyrs go when the VIRUS CURES itself?", as "Where will all the martyrs go when the VIOLENCE KILLS itself?" And I would think to myself, wow thats totally bad ass and has a cool meaning behind it. Not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed to see it wasn't my rendition, but the original line is way more creative even though I don't fully understand it.

  20. After posting an article about the anniversary of Dookie on my Facebook page the other day, I had two friends who are both a couple years older than me leave the following comments: "Green Day used to play parties in my little hometown, during the early '90s... I'll never forget watching their first video on MTV(which was the #1 video that summer I believe), at my girlfriend's, and being completely shocked at their sudden "success". I also remember 2 of them getting beat up at a Petaluma party one time...prolly for "stealing" dudes' girlfriends, which they had a reputation for, even way back then haha." "I saw them twice before Dookie came out and I thought they were good but I would have picked 20 bands of that era that I thought would blow up before them! Shows how much I know..." i was so so jealous of both of them for having seen them pre-Dookie!
