The beard needs to go

My own first Green Day concert anniversary will be in less than two weeks, since 2018 began I haven't stopped thinking of it, while to me it seems like only yesterday! I hope the remaining time before I see them again will seem to go on as fast. Didn't know they played JAR in Norway last year. Must've been awesome!

Somebody in another thread mentioned the live performances of Drama Queen in 2009, and it just occurred to me that I've never actually watched it all the way through before. So I've just watched it now, and omg, I can't believe what I've been missing. Drama Queen is by no means my favourite song (it's not even one of my faves from the trilogy), but that performance is so beautiful. I love his voice so much, it's so soothing. I also love the close-up of his hand at 1:17, you can see that he has only one fingernail painted blue. LNOE sounds wonderful too - his voice is the perfect mix of beautiful and sexy on that one. I'm not usually a huge fan of acoustic songs, but watching Billie's acoustic performances is absolutely magical.

The shorter hair in S America is his best look right now IMO. The long curly hair looks good when it’s wet/sweaty, but when dry it looks too much like a helmet. The shorter hair definitely make him look younger. I’d pay his son Jakob to shape and layer his hair too. The crazy hair genes are strong. Joey’s got it down and needs to counsel his papa & brother on good haircuts.
