That one is my all time fave KFAD. I have yet to find one that I like better - although this one is pretty close.3 points

I'm used to watching Billie hump things; not quite so used to seeing Jason do it.3 points

Yeah, there was one view from behind where you could totally tell he was grabbing his crotch. Wish they had shown that from the front (even though we have a million views of that already; one more never hurts).2 points

Same . There's a few KFAD videos from Warning times, I like this one particularly because of 1:25 onwards I'm such a KFAD fangirl lol, there must be barely a video of it I haven't seen2 points

Omg, I'm totally fangirling over that video of chubby Billie performing KFAD that @Montclare posted in the random GD thoughts thread. I can't believe I've never seen that before. So many belly glimpses from our chubby little friend. And his voice. I'm in love. I love how he turns into a total slut during KFAD, with all the ass/crotch rubbing. It's one of the reasons why I support KFAD on the setlist. And his voice in that video of Still Breathing that @Kuromignonne posted - it gets me every time. He always sounds so beautiful when he sings SB live.2 points

First time I saw GD live we spotted Jason doing some cheeky air humping, and then he was doing a seductive hip wiggling dance at FBHT. He's so subtle most of the time that he can sneak in some hip action or dance moves occasionally with almost no one noticing . I love his style2 points

Money Money 2020 is amazing to listen to with headphones. I appreciate it on a whole new level. Can you just imagine if they had released this then as the next Green Day album? People would have freaked! I almost wish they had done it. 😂2 points

So last week we talked about Billie making a food diary video and even though it's not quite the same, this GIF of him eating a banana is definitely adorable Billie and banana are already two things starting with B that I really like Edit: Not to mention that look he gives the camera at the end2 points

I could watch this gif forever. Look at his little face, he's so cute.2 points

I'm still addicted to it. I'm still watching it at least twice a day. It's just too good. While we're on the subject of BITUSA, it brings me onto something that I've been thinking about a lot recently. With most bands/artists I listen to, my favourite of their work is nearly always stuff from earlier in their career (not that I don't like their newer stuff, but some of it usually lacks creativity, or it feels like they're running out of ideas, or sometimes it's just because they change their sound slightly and I prefer their older sound). I'm so happy to say that, for me, this is not the case with Green Day. GD seem to go through ups and downs, rather than a sorta steady decline, imo. I think some of the best things they've done have come from the RevRad era. RevRad is by no means my favourite GD album (it's all the way down at number 7 actually), but I just think that this era has really proved that they've still got some life left in them, and that they've still got so much left to give. I can confirm that Bang Bang is currently my favourite song ever. I just think it's perfect and I can't fault it. It amazes me that they've released such a fantastic song this far into their career. Also, I would say the RevRad tour has been their best tour ever, even with the static set list. It's just been so fun and enjoyable and amazing to watch, even though I didn't get the opportunity to actually go to any of the shows. And then there's the BITUSA video, which is by far the best video they've ever made, imo. Just, for me, so much of their best stuff has happened in this era, and I'm so proud of them for it. They're my band for life. And the best part is that they've still got a long career ahead of them. I can't wait to see what they bring us next.2 points

It's hard to have a good time when you can't see the band because someone's selfishly holding a phone up in front of your face blocking your view . Which can happen a lot when there's multiple people doing it in the front rows. Like I would feel bad just knowing I was stopping someone being able to see, without even taking into account the negative effect it has on the band's ability to feel engaged with the crowd. I don't get the appeal of faffing around with a phone during a show at all, all I want to do is stare at the band and drink in every moment of the show that I've paid for and waited months to see. Maybe in seats it's alright but they can really spoil things for both audience members and the band when it's right near the stage, I think phones should be banned in the pit1 point

To my sense, the problem is we constantly urge ourselves to capture any good moment as if living it wasn't better, or wasn't enough. Living it is the only real thing, though... it's all we should need. I haven't either found it personally annoying that most people around me were filming at gigs, it didn't prevent me from enjoying these moments. But if there's something I realized by watching Youtube videos (cause I've been binge watching what people have filmed from this tour, yeah ), when sometimes the camera points out towards the crowd and we see what Billie sees, that myriad of cell phones out and up, I honestly find that totally freaky. I wonder how Billie, who feels concerned about this since he's been ranting against phones every night of the tour, could have spent the 2h30 of each show having this sight and not showing any sign of discomfort while performing. What he placed above all was giving the best show and making the audience go crazy, whether they'd keep filming or not... He even took selfies for fans who came up on stage... he filmed himself with a fan's phone while singing a line of Still Breathing at Corona Capital ("are you scared to death to live"... perhaps it was on purpose; something for this fan to think about when he / she'll be watching it); no matter how we interpret it, seeing him do this must've been the most moving thing, so once again he put the show before the rest, not avoiding cell phones if they could contribute to adding to the emotion of a moment, not being afraid to use them as to delivering a message, even in some paradoxical way. All the open-mindness, clairvoyance are courage that Billie has shown at the same time, through his behavior around cell phones stuff, is very fangirl worthy to me. I keep admiring Billie more. You know I took a screenshot of that video at that moment when he picks up the banana, and made a phone background of it; he's so cute it's almost too much to handle (plus, we don't get to see him slightly from above so frequently!)1 point

I fell the same. Filming takes me out of the experience. I'd rather be in the moment than take a video.1 point

Possibly being a different generation from a lot of you, I totally get what Billie's talking about, I take as little as possible to any concert, no camera, no phone! I want to actuallly experience every moment and not have anything between me and the experience.1 point

Speaking of dads being fans of GD, oooh yes! About 40 minutes after they posted the music video (I was away from the house, didn't have wifi) he excitedly had to text me with "good news". And of course, whenever we have guests at our house he has to play his favourite GD song. Oh, and not long ago he bought a wall scroll with Boulevard's lyrics and now has it hanging above his computer. Our house lives with Green Day!1 point

I can hear Dad downstairs listening to Back in the USA! I think he must be watching the music video- I love it when I can hear Dad listening to some GD! I've not seen the Back in the USA video for a week or two- I feel like watching it now.1 point

I actually agree. When I can see how much he's enjoying this time with the crowd (and I know that the more he and the band are enjoying it the better the show will be for everyone) I want to be on his team and not contribute to it being less enjoyable in any way. His air of authority comes into it too, and I'd never want to waste time filming or taking pictures at a GD show anyway, but more than anything it's wanting to be on side with the band and everyone enjoying the show together and joining in. When Billie's there so happy and I know less phones and everyone engaged is what he hopes to see (and he's telling off people who aren't doing it ) I feel the strong desire to be part of that and not "let him down" haha, as well as just wanting to anyway because it's fun.1 point

Im glad he doesnt go on big angry rants anymore. They were too much during the 21st century breakdown tour. These days he keeps it simple “i hate trump but i love you, lets dance.”1 point

A week before my show I sent this to my friend and told her "Be prepared to be verbally abused by a tiny, sweaty, extremely loud man...and to thoroughly enjoy it". Video should start a 9:481 point

Of course he's badass, I just don't see that badass = dangerous. When I saw that little human being, restlessly hopping with his guitar, closed eyes and a large smile that lead me straight to heaven, I could think of everything but dangerous about him. And when I was hearing his growling voice coming from that angel face, it only made me find him more touching, amazing, adorable. It's like everybody could have been caught within his aura of happiness. I really had that vision at my last concert. What could feel dangerous about that? I totally agree, and would add vulnerable. Billie proves the best how showing yourself vulnerable in all honesty is also showing the greatest strength. I think of a song like Still Breathing at first, but there are loads of songs where he openly gives multiple sides of him, including being badass and then emotional, and I too find the coexistence of all these amazing. I think it's something I feel very deeply each time I watch any live stuff (and that I've felt in the strongest way attending concerts...), but which is also not simple to verbalize. I think I see this any time I even look at a photo of Billie, whether it's from a gig moment or an ordinary world moment... Sometimes, what I feel as indescribable happiness on his face turns out to also feel like extreme sadness, I can't tell why, it must depend on my own state of mind. But he just liberates every emotion in him when he's performing, that's for sure. Extreme sadness and happiness feel very close, and I'm just always more and more amazed by that. To me, more than being authoritative, it's the fact he puts so much heart into ranting (against phones, for example) that prevents me from disobeying anyways, because he inspires so much empathy I just want to see what he sees, to feel the way he does and it's very easy and rejoicing to forget myself then; for the phone, happily, it doesn't cost me any effort not to pick it up. As for other of Billie's messages during gigs, it has sometimes taken me months but listening to them not only because of Billie's impressive tone, but also because this tone is also imploring in a way, has helped me to look at certain recurrent things in another way, and has made me outgrow some stuff I was only living as difficulties.1 point

What gets me is how Billie switches between passionate, badass, bad boy to goofy and adorable in an instant. Its like how one minute you are enjoying (most us lol) the craziness of KFAD and then switch to the emotion of WMUWSE, and everyone in the crowd is right there. It’s masterful and amazing.1 point
