I I agree, but can I say for future peace on the forum that I think holier-than-thou preaching should be called out by the mods. I’m not talking about just opinions, I think we know the difference. Human adults don’t like to be told how they “should” feel about something, so it’s always going to result in ugliness. Ok back to other topics.5 points

Oh sorry... this is just the second funniest thing ever. The funniest thing ever would be if it was a naked Trump calendar lmao5 points

People, it was a misprint in a book, it happens all the time and will be sorted. It’s the time of peace and goodwill, let’s go back to that. Today is the start of the reverb sale and I see Mt Eddy are playing a Gilman benefit at the weekend, maybe some more pics will appear. 😀5 points

It sure is He has such a wonderful talking voice. I mean, of course I love his singing voice, and I also love his on-stage-screaming-and-ranting-voice very much, but his regular talking voice is just so beautiful and soothing.4 points

Thank God you're here to uphold the morality and humanity on this website or us heartless childhating assholes might just head directly to hell4 points

It's just a book though. It's not a certified therapy session, which was my point. "The help they need" is a stretch.4 points

I think y'all are forgetting that all that happened is a misprint in a book. It's not like Billie Joe broke the door down in the middle of a therapy session, jesus4 points

What, because they lost a pet? That's not really 'going through hell.' There are much shittier things that could've happened to that kid. You're being way too dramatic about it.4 points

I love how non-threatening and cute his talking voice sounds compared to how sexy and dangerous his on stage ranting voice sounds. It's good to have both. And yeah, loving his singing voice is a given.3 points

Backing vocals on Green Day songs are underrated anyway I think. The fact that he (and the others) can do such great backing vocals in the studio and then perform them perfectly live (where a lot of other, particularly pop punk / alternative rock bands fail) deserves some serious respect. Songs like Holiday, Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, Welcome To Paradise, Minority, J.A.R, Prosthetic Head etc. just wouldn’t sound the same without those backing vocals. That’s also why Green Day is one of the few bands that can pull off The Who’s complex harmonies when they cover their songs.3 points

Hey, does anybody else love the backing vocals on 21st Century Breakdown? Great job Mike!3 points

This. If people keep taking this off topic and throwing around personal insults then we’ll have to start giving out warnings - keep the debate civil and on topic please.3 points

Oh my god, can you imagine a naked Trump calendar, no, please, don’t make me 😱🤯3 points

Obviously that's a shitty situation for the author of the book and the parents who got a different book than they ordered, but it's not hurting the children or making the situation worse for them. Like @jengd said, it's just a misprint (which I still find funny) and it will get sorted. And I'm absolutely hoping for more Christmas pictures and news over the weekend!:)3 points

It’s not just his voice though it’s his whole persona that changes when he’s performing or in public. It’s like he transforms into a superhero and becomes larger than life. This is Clark Kent Billie and then there’s SuperBillie 😄2 points

I really really love his hair in that video. His curls. And I love it when I can see his gorgeous little ears. It's nice to hear his voice again too. It's even sexier than I remembered.2 points

We did mention a bit Billie and Adie showing up on Instagram just a little above here, while it was already posted in the Instagram thread and while I've also seen the thread dedicated for this new video, I think the Billie that appears in it is totally fangirl worthy: The hair, so curly, and they've grown quite quickly! I'm only starting to wish he would let them partially undyed, I somehow miss the bits of white we'e seen on the sides last month! These eyes he keeps rolling like green marbles, and that overall cuteness! That video made me really happy today!2 points

I was thinking the exact thing when watching this. Totally different. So normal, so ordinary, so approachable. Seems like a neighbor I could talk to, but one I would lust after. Which currently I should clarify, I have no such neighbors.1 point

Watching that video I can imagine just hanging out with him talking about music like I would with anyone. But then his stage persona is so completely different it’s hard to believe they’re the same person.1 point

I don't think the point is whether losing a pet can be described as hell or not (which I'm sure it could depending on the child and their circumstances - which could include going through other even worse things in their lives at the same time) or whether there's worse things. It's that whether a child goes through hell over it or not doesn't hang on how quickly they can buy a particular book. But yeah the main point being this discussion doesn't need to be made personal.1 point

It's always amazed me how his eyes look different colours. Either way, they're beautiful.1 point

He looks SO good in that recent video. Those eyes I love that his eyes seem to have different colors depending on the light situation. In that pic @RedundantIdiot posted they almost look grey, sometimes they seem to be light green and sometimes green-brownish. It's magic and I love it.1 point

I'm back! (after only posting here once in the last week). Have you guys seen the video that this gorgeous picture comes from? I love the little curl at the front1 point

OMG, this is hilarious. I think the band used this site as an inspiration for the God's Favorite Band artwork and the Church of Green Day1 point
