  1. I really like Shenanigans.

  2. This is totally me right now. It's my day off school and I've got nothing to do with my life, so I've just been spending hours watching GD videos. I'm watching loads of videos from nearer the start of the RevRad era atm, because so much has happened since then that I've almost forgotten about it all - also, I didn't follow the band as closely back then than I do now, so I know I've missed out on some stuff. I've just watched the Facebook livestream they did from OTIS back in august last year, and it's just occurred to me that I didn't get to watch it all the way through the first time round. Billie looks stunning in it - I love the part where he goes right up close to the camera, because his eyes look extremely gorgeous. And I also love how Mike tries to understand how Facebook live works and he goes "It's like the future." I wish they'd do another long livestream like that, just hanging around being all goofy and mischievous and adorable, whilst also telling/showing us something interesting. Billie's instagram lives are gold, but they only last a few minutes.

  4. So I listened to my Pinhead Gunpowder records this morning, and then I decided to listen to some Replacements albums because of PHGP's cover of Achin To Be. I looked at the credits and The Replacements' "Don't Tell A Soul" album was mixed by Chris Lord-Alge, who mixed a lot of green day albums, and the album "All Shook Down" was produced by Scott Litt, who was originally supposed to produce Warning. neat! Also, I think I remember an interview where Billie said that before Butch Vig they were considering a female producer for 21st CBD, I forget her name though, anyone remember? I'd love to see a woman producer involved with a GD album! I remember Billie said she had a lot of great ideas

  5. It's a picture I customized months ago, and I've been trying to remember which concert / month it comes from . From the RevRad tour for sure, telling from the haircut I'd say an early 2017 concert, and one of the few where he wasn't wearing a black, red or striped shirt. So perhaps Canada in March. This and personally, I die of happiness every day digging "new" Green Day stuff, or rediscovering old stuff that I had pretty much forgotten in between. Old stuff, that could already mean stuff from this summer, so many things have happened since! Let me get this right: you have 7 pictures of the boys in your room and you're thinking that could be a problem? Not sure I should say how many times I have Billie's face in my room then...

  6. I just saw one for sale recently and I forget where but the first place I saw it was being worn by someone in the photobooth at Uncool Halloween. Talk about poor taste. I’d be so embarrassed to run into him there while wearing that. Then again, he has a sense of humor about it because when someone used it to make a Shut Up Greg meme he reposted it so the choice of photo obviously didn’t bother him.

  7. in that case - thanks Billie, should have been a selfie though!

  8. Confession time: I've just spent half an hour staring in the mirror, trying to work out if I have more chins than Billie. What has my life come to?

  9. Aw that sucks. I’ve also seen a t-shirt with the image of his mug shot on it. People have no shame.

  10. I first got internet access in 2007, like a year and a half after I got into GD, and I couldn't BELIEVE the amount of stuff there was to see that I'd only read about or never even knew of, it was amazing. That was my prime fangirling time . I pretty much made it my mission to watch/listen to/read everything I could find. But the beauty of it is even after seeing nearly everything there's so much that there's always tons of stuff I haven't seen in ages (plus occasional stuff I haven't seen before) to look up whenever I want. GD provides endless entertainment!

  11. He's never initiated kisses with women on stage, he's let them kiss him but he won't be the one to start it and as a result it's rare that he's kissed women. The worst he did was give a few dudes an unexpected kiss when they came up to play Knowledge back in Warning times, but the vast majority of the time it's been either a mutual thing or the fan initiating it, and friendly rather than sexual/romantic kisses. And sexual stuff on stage hasn't involved other people. I don't think there's anything to worry about, or much point in speculating about it. We certainly don't need to speculate about the guys' personal lives off stage.

  12. A mix of pictures from 2017: February, in Paris: My first concert, it's been already so many months! Good Morning America in May: ^ how can he be so smol? Last North-American leg, August and September: ^^ my favorite style Global Citizen Festival in September: ^ I can't get a bigger version of this picture, but that smile tho... I'm melting and South America: << smol ^ Whatever the hair looks like, he's gorgeous. Still, I don't get how his hair seem to have grown that much within a few days (I think the second picture is more recent) but, oh well

  13. Anyone who didn’t know or care about his situation maybe. Plenty of people found it punk and cool when it happened. Some might have felt bad after but more casual fans might not have cared. 😕

  14. I'm glad that he doesn't take it too seriously. It must make everything a hell of a lot easier for him.

  15. Does anyone know what Billie says in Armatage Shanks when they play it live "self loathing freak and..... deviot"?! I'm pretty sure it's not "introverted deviot", I hear self empowered?! Lol For reference: Also, I thought it's just when they played it in the past couple of years, but I found this from 1995 and he says the same thing, I just can't figure it out.

  16. It was Linda Perry. I think they had her in the studio for a short time or met with her or whatever in the early stages, at the same time they were making Stop Drop and Roll. I guess in the end it didn't work out and they decided on Butch Vig instead but it does sound like she had some kind of influence (on one or both albums, not sure which exactly but I know she was mentioned in connection to SDR as well), with Billie saying she had great ideas etc. She's worked with soooo many different kinds of acts and is a really big name producer and songwriter so definitely would've been interesting!

  21. You should know that Billie is the Master of Chins. It's a law of nature that whenever he decides to expose them, it is impossible for anybody to have more chins than him

  22. So Tre is hanging out in the desert, Mike is going out to shows and Billie’s sitting around listening to punk music. All is right with the world. 👌

  27. I'm busy looking at all of Billies Instagram posts so far this year! I've done a quick count of them and there's over 250 posts- many of the earlier ones I'd forgotten about. And of course, the window picture is still funny!

  28. One thing that's good is they've made so much music and played so many shows and done so many interviews and all the rest that it's almost impossible to run out of stuff to be entertained by even when they're off duty for months. Of course it's great to follow them doing new stuff but in between is a good opportunity to dig into all the old stuff you haven't checked out for a while/ever.

  33. I'm so tired because of school. Final three weeks of the semester and I'm lacking of sleep. The depression mode is kicking in again for me (and my friend who litterally droped out of the semester two weeks ago). Anyway, I just wanted to thank you all for making this thread so amazing and fun. It's like the sunshine in a dark day. It keeps me sane in this insane semester. Here a picture for you to light up your day: I guess I needed to see a smile this morning, specially Billie's beautiful smile, because I just want to cry right now for no reason.

  34. Do you hit “enter” on desktop or “return” on mobile after you paste the link? After that if you give it a few seconds it should automatically embed. Also, this thread is technically for Q&A related to the band. For GDA/GDC-specific help, you can post here in the future:
