I’d be happy to collect them and send them if we can agree on the best address. (But is he gonna be spoiled if he reads this?)4 points

How fun would that be! We could send him one sock from a pair and he could mix and match. And we would have the partner to one of his socks.4 points

I am totally fangirling over Tre's insta story where Billie has his feet on the back of Tre's chair. His little feet are so adorable. And his odd socks tho. I love it when he's being eccentric. And his expression when Tre puts the camera on his face. And omg, don't even get me started on his most recent instagram post. Every single picture is total perfection. His eyes, and his hands, and his lips, and his hair, and his neck, and his ears, and his eyebrows, and his legs, and his facial expressions. He is totally flawless. He just keeps looking better and better.4 points

Because why would he get that basic grammar right once in the studio and then proceed to get it wrong every single time he says it live? It's his own fault that I think that My mind is blown that it's actually him on the recording though, good job at putting on a voice. I think that (and most things that aren't strictly grammatically correct in songs) comes under poetic license/singing the way people talk. When pretending to be a posh-talking radio presenter it should be correct grammar though3 points

so about 20 minutes ago I started to make coffee and then I went in my room and started watching the GD House of Blues set. Then when they got to "409 in your coffeemaker" I yelled "fuck!" and ran off to the kitchen, I totally forgot that I had made coffee I dug my green day mug out of the cupboard because of what happened lol. I was gunna post a pic of it but I don't have anywhere to host the pic since I deactivated my facebook page, oops!3 points

Yesssss! That's why it's one of my favorite songs ever. I remember hearing it for the first time, it hit me hard. I was someone else. And this reminds me of the scene in Heart Like a Hand Grenade where Billie starts crying when they finish recording Whatsername. It kills me every time2 points

I agree with that. I'd definitely pick Billie or Matt just because Billie has the ability to interact with fans even though they're playing a stadium. Matt isn't so great at that. He's an amazing singer and guitar player live, but audience interaction? Meh not really. He tries but Muse is more about their stage set up more than anything it seems.1 point

Man do you know how hard you have to hit yourself to break your own rib? That shit’s not easy. 😱. Whether it was bruised or cracked there’s nothing they can do for it anyway, it just takes time to heal so could have been either one. ETA: Just watched the whole video and thes best story is the one when Tre tried to throw the tv out the window! So my question is, how many stories do we have of Billie getting his front teeth chipped over the years? I can think of at least three with the first dating back to Mankato in 1990. Then this one and the. A third time at a FHT show right? No wonder he finally got them replaced in the end.1 point

Yeah, they have a lot of people to transport it looked pretty full so you have to pack them in. Seats looked wide and cushy though. No nasty middle seats.1 point

He talks about it at 2:00 in this video, but he says he bruised his ribs, not cracked them.1 point

Just to point out that even when it is him he changes the words of the recorded versions. It always irks me a little that he always says live “the representative of (whereever) NOW has the floor” where on the record he just says “the representative of (California) has the floor”. I think he just mistakenly remembers it that way and it gets stuck like muscle memory.1 point

@Hermione has the right answer. If you've ever watched the tv show called Don't Drive Here, the episode in Mexico City, the tv host's goal is to drive like one of the professional drivers in one of those security convoys. In South America, there are a lot of drugs dealers and criminal organizations who are ready to kidnap wellknown/celebrities/rich people to exchange them for money. So, it's a common thing down there to have a security convoy around another vehicule in which the people of interest are taking place . The security convoy is «allowed» to go over the speed limit, to not stop at red lights and stop signs, and it can block traffic whenever it needs to without asking for any kinds of permission. If you want to see how stressful this job is, part of the Don't Drive Here episode in Mexico City is on Youtube. Anyway, back to fangirling: Billie Joe is hawt!1 point

For me, it's a tossup between Billie and Matt Bellamy from Muse. They're both great, but in polar opposite ways. Matt is pure music/instrumental, and Billie is fantastic at getting the crowd hyped up/crowd interaction. I have to give it to Billie for that reason.1 point

I agree. They're so much more appreciative because they don't get the regular tour stops like the rest of the world. The rest of us (N America, Europe, Australia) take it for granted that they'll be somewhere near us. For Asia and S America it's possibly a once in a lifetime thing. I think the band know and appreciate that, but it's got to be exhausting at times.1 point

Yeah, in other pictures from the hotel there he looks like he’s loving it but then other times it’s just a little too crazy. I don’t remember the other legs of the tour being anything like this. It’s like Beatlemania, there are crowds at every hotel and at the airports. No wonder they always remember South America fondly, we only see a fraction of the craziness that they see and it is definitely different from Europe and the US where they meet small groups of polite fans here and there. I can’t believe the screams 😱1 point

Honestly, much as I adore him, I think he’d be hard work to live with, but rewarding - if you know what I mean1 point

Billie looks fabulous atm but I have to confess that I've been missing some chin action on this leg of the tour so far. The chin(s) must be there but the new haircut seems to distract from it/them1 point

There is nothing more beautiful than Billie smiling. He smiled a lot this year. He is happy on stage. And he said so many times that RevRad was the best tour ever. It's the first time of his entire life that he both created an album (a very good one), promoted it and toured while being sober. We can be proud of him. Billie is in the right place in his life right now.1 point

^ I agree with you that he does look his age and looks good. On a different note, when you look at these two pictures, I can see that he looks his age in both of them, but his current hairstyle is much more flattering and suits the shape of his face better.1 point
-
Looking at recent pics of Billie & being the analytical person I am, I was trying to pinpoint what it is that keeps him looking so young. It's partly the obvious things, such as the full thick hair, the round face shape, and the big round eyes. But one of the biggies is his full lips. They really help to not show his age. The man is blessed.1 point

So I was going through the Instagram tags... and look at this fan footage of BJ and Mike . I bloody love them so much, it's such a cute moment. (I feel pretty weird posting up some random persons Instagram post, but I thought you guys should see it.)1 point

Billie's short hair, I'm starting to like it even more, specialy when it is curly. And thanks to his short hair, we can see his ears! I love Mike's reaction in the last picture, He looks funny. (I don't want to see this thread closed. I love it too much. It is the reason why I started posting again after years of keeping a low profile.)1 point

1. HAIR IMPLANTS! I can't even look at you right now. 2. Yes his hair is short but we can see his pretty little face. There won't be as much sweat flying but think about all the cuteness as his hair grows out. 3. Most fangirl thing/moment - anytime a GD song comes on in public, or in my house or car, I feel like everyone looks at me to see what I'm going to do. Like total strangers just can tell by looking at me. And inside I'm all smug "Yea motherfu*kers! That's my boys! "1 point

I'll put one pretty picture here and the rest in the BJA picture thread: Wow, Gloria put 60 of these in her post!1 point

This haircut is really a change but I approve it. He looks very sexy. And he was dressed exactly like I thought for that show! All black Biggest fangirl thing that I've done: apart from the daily smiles / cries / laughter / thoughts / inspirations of all kinds, when I was to my 2nd concert, after the show was over, I bowed down several times towards the stage screaming "I love you, Billie Joe Armstrong" as loud as I could, in English, in French, with a big smile on my teary face. My voice was resonating all through in the field, it was really great!1 point
