I love nerd Billie from the Holiday vid. . He looks hawt. But I've always had an attraction to nerds 😕 They are my people, lol. The new hair is awesome. I think it's really flattering and I love that we can see his whole adorable little face. I would be ok with a little more fluff or spikiness but lately his hair was just too much for him. It was looking very hobbity and grandmaish. Having said that, he really is beautiful regardless what his hair looks like. I just love him so much.

I always look at other people's phones when I'm on the bus 'cause I want to check out what kind of music they are listening to . A couple of days ago, I could clearly see Mike's face on an orange background, so the guy who was sitting next to me was listening to Dos .

I think you can tell Haushinka was written when they were much younger, it's not really the same level lyrically. But it's fun to hear a Kerplunk era song Nimrod era style, and I like how Jinx leads into it. Another song that makes the album more varied and interesting. Totally disagree with the idea of replacing Take Back and Last Ride In with Suffocate and Desensitized . They're great songs but the beauty of Nimrod is it's variety and quirkiness, replacing two of the most unique songs with two much more standard GD sounding ones would diminish it. I think the worst song on Nimrod is Reject, probably the least interesting sounding and the whole "I do what I want and you do what you're told" thing comes off as a bit immature edgy teenager even if it's still enjoyable . I still want it on there though, Nimrod doesn't need changing in any way.

^^^ I totally agree with what you said about Walking Alone. I didn't know if it was unpopular or not, so I never thought to mention it in this thread. I don't hate it, but it's nothing special, imo. Plus, I find the harmonica kind of annoying.

I love Reject. It’s catchy and has a funny story behind it. That line you quote was taken verbatim from his own letter to that angry parent complaining that they were trash. I loved his response, both the letter and the song.

I think Haushinka is a masterpiece. I guess if people have the criticism that Green Day just write three power cord songs, then they should listen to this (and Panic Song as well as some of the bass lines on Kerplunk). Not that I agree with the principle of that criticism though...
