Billies new hairstyle gets the thumbs up from me because it looks good when sweaty

So I was going through the Instagram tags... and look at this fan footage of BJ and Mike . I bloody love them so much, it's such a cute moment. (I feel pretty weird posting up some random persons Instagram post, but I thought you guys should see it.)

He looks so beautiful in this first pic: Eyes and eyelashes and I really really really love the new hair.

I hope he'll go shirtless on this tour at least once but as I don't really see it happen, I am enjoying at least the bellie glimpses right now Also, I find it really funny and cute that his pants can look both nicely and tight fitted as well as baggy in one and the same concert He's really mysterious

Looking at recent pics of Billie & being the analytical person I am, I was trying to pinpoint what it is that keeps him looking so young. It's partly the obvious things, such as the full thick hair, the round face shape, and the big round eyes. But one of the biggies is his full lips. They really help to not show his age. The man is blessed.

I would prefer headliner shows. Queing for festivals is the worst. But I'll take what I can get.

Yeah possibly, although I'd guess it was more the director's choice since GD generally seem to leave it to them and not have much creative input themselves. Still I'm really impressed that they acted an emotional scene in the video even if it isn't the whole thing. I love it when music acts do that instead of just playing the song and getting actors in for the acting part.

They're always so happy when they're around each other and it's so beautiful. They've really been giving me the feels these past few days. If it is I would have died long ago! Isn't that one of the things that makes us Green Day fangirls? I am far from a rule follower myself! Same. I really love fluffy haired Billie the most but I will take Billie in any form. I have missed his beautiful face so much!! And I am also going to state for the record that Billie Joe is hawt!!! As far as some of the most fangirl things I've done? Nothing but Green Day CDs are allowed in my vehicle. I have bought countless magazines for even just a picture or one quote from Billie in it. I named my kitten Billie Moe, in honor of our favorite singer (and yes, Moe, not Joe- I didn't want to seem TOO obsessed! ) You are the cutest @G-L-O-R-I-A!!! <3 Your posts always make me happy! Love to see a fellow fangirl so enthusiastic about our Billie!!

Definitely! But I think the chance that they will play headliner shows here in Europe next year are small.... some festivals could be possible though. So yeah, we have to take what we can get!

I agree. For a 45 years old man, he is in great shape. He can go shirtless and make every other men jealous. Billie's beautiful and it has been a long time since the last time he took off his shirt during a concert. Since it seems it isn't going to happen anytime soon (wishing that I'm wrong), so yeah me too I'm going to enjoy every bellie glimpses I can find.

this is actually a very good point. It seems that he likes to make his songs not about himself. That's what the use of characters seems to be. He writes a song and then presents it as a song about a character. It's understandable - he's quite honest in his writing and some of that stuff just aren't things most people would like to tell about themselves. When he explains his lyrics, he often says something very generic. I remember I watched an interview in which he was talking about 21CB songs, and I must admit I was curious about what he'd say about RHS. He let Mike answer and Mike said it's about how pharmacutical industry uses advertising to brainwash people to buy meds. I'm not saying it's not a plausible explanation of the lyrics, it's just an example of how Billie/the band make songs less personal.

His bellie looks so perfect in that first pic. Also, I love hearing him sing Still Breathing live. The fact that he seems so vulnerable as he sings the first verse and then he becomes so powerful as he belts out the chorus. He's such an amazing performer.

Billie looks in great shape, these pictures make me so happy! The new hair is surprisingly short but also surprisingly good on him as soon as it goes wild and sweaty. And indeed we can see his face very well, such a blessing, every millimeter of it is beautiful.

I'm totally in love with Billie's chompers rn. They're so nice and shiny. He has the most beautiful smile I've ever seen. I love it when he's happy.

He's definitely coy about it, but there are times when he's claimed songs were not about himself and then other times when he absolutely admits that they are. He's done that with Basket Case for example. And he'll hide behind characters in AI (which he never denied was about himself) and also 21CB which he later was like, yeah Christian and Gloria are both me, it's all about me actually. There's no use denying it anymore. It was refreshing to see him finally throw that facade off in RevRad and be more direct and truthful about it.

He sounds awesome and 45 is most definitely an age where you start to hear a difference. It is not as drastic as when you are older, but the more powerful the voice the more likely you are to lose some of it as you age. It is just a natural progression

I once licked the seat of a car because a man told me it belonged to Tre Cool once. It only tasted like old Taco Bell and ball sweat. I'm pretty sure Tre Cool was never in the car. I sent Mike Dirnt a letter asking for his advice: Should I feed my dog the food that he likes or the diet food that is good for his health? I'm pretty sure Mike's reply got lost in the mail. I was on an airplane about to land in San Francisco when another plane nearly crashed into us. I flipped off the other plane but I'm pretty sure the other plane's pilot didn't see it. Then I found out Billie Joe Armstrong was on that plane. I realized I may have accidentally flipped off Billie Joe so I sent him a bag of weed for a green day, but it was only shake so I think that wasn't sufficient for an apology and he is still mad at me.

After more than four years and 750 pages, this is the end of an era. But to stay on topic, "Billy Jo is so hawt" Nah, let's just make the best of it. I see that the old thread might have spilled out of control a bit the past few months, so here we go writing the next 750 pages. Oh, and yes, let's appreciate Jeff.
