This haircut is really a change but I approve it. He looks very sexy. And he was dressed exactly like I thought for that show! All black Biggest fangirl thing that I've done: apart from the daily smiles / cries / laughter / thoughts / inspirations of all kinds, when I was to my 2nd concert, after the show was over, I bowed down several times towards the stage screaming "I love you, Billie Joe Armstrong" as loud as I could, in English, in French, with a big smile on my teary face. My voice was resonating all through in the field, it was really great!

Oh, Billie looks wonderful in the pics from last night. I was waiting to see that new haircut, and it didn't disappoint. He's looking so young atm. God, I'm so glad these guys are back. I've missed them so so so so so so much. Wow, he looks gorgeous in that pic. That little glimpse of his tattoo. And his lips - they look so soft and smooth. He has the kindest face of any guy I've ever seen. He just looks so gentle and welcoming in that pic - I think it's the soft features and that lovely twinkle in his eyes. He gets even more beautiful as the days go by.

Yes, only next level because I feel like the emotions are tied to something in SB. With Good Riddance it sorta feels like they were just being emotional for the sake of it. They really did do a great job. I love the frustration Tre and Mike have when they finally stop waiting for Billie, and the shots at the end when they’re finally together again. I especially love that shot because they could’ve used the “finding my way to you” line to have him finding his way back to a girl or something but instead it’s his friends, and there should be more positive friend stuff in videos. Everything doesn’t need to be a romantic relationship.

That's my experience too. This year I was at a festival where both Green Day and Blink played and I was there with people all in their 30s. They had never seen GD live, but were mocking them all the time and were totally hyped for Blink. It really pissed me off. But after the shows they had to admit that Blink totally sucked live and GD's show was kicking ass. So I think many people base their opinions on stupid prejudices like GD, and GD alone, killed punk and that shit. But most people change their minds once they've seen the boys live.

But we've already known there's a high possibility of it being a cover since the day they announced it, so why be disappointed? They don't owe us anything so I'll take a cover and enjoy it or be pleasantly surprised if it's a new song. I don't really know what people expect from a greatest hits. The album itself isn't really made for us, it's for people less familiar with the band who don't already own all their songs. The cool merch and a cover/new song and new version of a song are for us if we want them. People seem to think we're being short changed somehow and I'm not sure why.

Re Billie’s hair, if you look at much older pics with his hair off his forehead, he has a sort of widows peak but it’s like it’s not asymmetric, it’s just his natural hairline, I like it, it seems a little quirky Shame on you thinking he has implants, with that head of hair Oh, and Billie Joe is sooooooo hawt

Haha, no: Green Day's live performances have been absolutely on point ever since the Warning tour. Yes, they were always really really good (honestly even some of their shittiest concerts and there are only few, sound better than most, if not all of Blink 182's live gigs), but around Warning/AI is when they got a lot more precise, expanded their horizon and gradually shifted from being a small punk band trio to being (at least for a while) the world's largest (live) band. They still have that sound to this day. I guess from a performance point of view you could argue they hit their peak somewhere between 2005-2010, but they're still really damn good today. Blink 182 isn't and never were (neither are many other pop punk bands; I guess the best other live band in the genre would be Billy Talent, imo at least).

I don't feel that it's frustration but general anxiety and uncertainly, which maybe because I think they must have felt that at times during our dark age! I live the SB video and I just watched the RevRad one again too, on a bigger screen and it was awesome, found it really emotional to with the flashbacks, can't understand now why I didn't like it more when it first came out.
