Maybe Know Your Enemy? Not that I agree but a lot of people complain that it's repetitive and the lyrics are meaningless. Or the lyrics as a whole are "trying too hard" or "too metaphorical" or whatever? Lyrically, I think 21st Century Breakdown is Billie's best work (and also my favourite work of all time). He has written bad lyrics but not on that album. Can't agree with any criticisms there4 points

As someone who loves this movie and has seen it multiple times, Iām curious to know what you think is bad about it. I like the feeling of being a fly on the wall of the studio when they were recording it and working things through, it has some genuinely funny moments and some great live performances. Whatās unwatchable? (I did already mention the JOS dance sequence is kind of weird, but I love the Dylanesque American Idiot sequence with the cue cards).4 points

This! He literally just catapulted himself onto a bunch of unsuspecting children. The most terrifying thing you'll see this Halloween.4 points

I feel like Billies lyrics have gotten lackluster over the years. In my opinion it's hard to find any subpar lyrics from kerplunk through American idiot and 21st century had some really amazing lyrics mixed with some really stupid ones. Obviously the trilogy lyrics are trash but even revolution radio has some really bad lyrics and I just wonder why? I write songs And once I have a melody it's easy to put the best lyrics possible within that melody so I wonder why Billie chooses some of the lyrics he does now. I just find it strange. On another note i really like Devils Kind other than a couple of stupid lines like "I'll be the king forever" but id like to hear a better version and think it should've been on revolution radio. Body bag is cool too but I can take it or leave it.3 points

The Demolicious version of Baby Eyes is so damn good. They really should've kept that bass intro.3 points

I love it when Billie does abstract shit. That's partly why 21stCB is my fave. I'm sure there are a few times when he uses lyrics that just sound good, but part of the fun is trying to find meaning in it. 21CB makes me think and I like that.2 points

Absolutely a pro, first time I saw this I could hardly believe he wasnāt hurt but this is a much better angle. Also, love SWMRS reactions to it, looks like they are in stitches at him.2 points

The entire film was poorly done. It did not give any insight into the recording process at all. The few moments it started to get into something interested, it didn't follow through and left us hanging. For example, they started the creative process of the logo and then all of a sudden we had the logo. They didn't tell how they came up with it, the thought process ,etc. It went from "we want a logo" to heres your logo. The entire film was disjointed, it didn't flow. Then there were those awful dance sequences which just made the issue of the flow of the film that much worse. Overall, I feel it was an extremely poorly made film. To me it felt like a High School project. Again, just my opinion.2 points

Incredibly impressive. He landed all too well, despite how sudden it was. It's hard to look that poised when stage diving.2 points

This, I want to know what the bad ones are! I'm guessing people are referring to Christian's Inferno when they say that since it's weird and not to everyone's taste and stuff but can someone name any bad lyrics from any other song?!2 points

I still love Billie's lyrics. His style has definitely changed over the years but I still think they are great. When he was younger his lyrics were straight forward and now they are more abstract, but I still think they are great. Of course there are some losers in the bunch but there were when he was younger as well. RevRad is still in my top albums, probably only surpassed by AI. This is a few days old, but in my opinion HLAHG was absolute utter trash and completely unwatchable.2 points

It kills me that I canāt get Devils Kind and Body Bag on Spotify. I love both of them and if he wasnāt going to release them with Green Day Warners should at least put them on Spotify as BJA solo material like Foreverly.2 points

I know but thatās what it said when I googled it. It seemed like they arrived sooner than that so I donāt know.1 point

Ah so they were playing Palm Trees. Now I get why he stage dived. That song has that affect on me too! haha. Now I also get why he needed to get so much air, there's so many photographers, etc. that he had to jump over.1 point

I think lyrically, the trilogy is about the same as Kerplunk. But I think the reason it gets hated, other than a few dumb lyrics, is that people think that at this stage of their career, they should be writing better lyrics. However, I don't mind the lyrics on the trilogy because it was intended to be fun albums and not to serious. The trilogy wasn't as serious as 21CB or AI, albums which contain imo Billie's best lyrics. People say that 21CB has some bad lyrics, but honestly I don't think any of the lyrics are bad in that album1 point

Indeed and so is the trilogy (lyrically and in general) Rhyming "crazy" with "crazy" in both verses of Android is pretty bad1 point

I agree. He probably caught the people he landed on by surprise but I doubt he hit the floor. They probably just caught him further down. As long as the place was relatively packed, heās be good. And lucky for those kids, heās not a very big dude!1 point

Considering it seems to be the shirt he was wearing in his own pic ( by God, I was SHOOK after I found out I had mixed up father and son), in addition to the caption, I think we can safely assume that it's Billie. Oh, that wild, tiny human.1 point

I felt meh about it too. It didnāt meet my expectations. There was quite a lot of filler, non studio stuff that wasnāt needed. However, some bits are really great, like Billie mocking the fan boards and crying at the end of Whatsername1 point
-
He's on stage for a couple of hours with most of an audience that can't even let go of their phone during this time. People need to be shaken up... Billie's message is not about the only word "revolution", that word may be connoted, but if you listen to Billie's speech in full it means changing your (bad) habits, doing what you can to change things around you. What Billie says in the first place is to put away the phone, watch out for each other, starting with right now, when you're at the concert. The "revolution" thing to me is a way of expressing his anger and the energy he puts against all the bad stuff, as opposed to the lethargy society and media tend to keep people in. He said that in DC as he was in the place, and he wasn't gonna ignore it. It personally filled me with great, positive energy and joy to hear his speeches.1 point
