I learned of that at the same time as all of you although I did say in another thread where everyone was discussing new album shit to look for new songs at pop up shows (brilliant I know ), but no, I didn't know they were gonna perform that at the "garage show". I will say keep an eye out for more pop up shows after the tour.

I love it when Billie tweets random thoughts. He was probably munching on a snack watching t.v when they mentioned trump. Suddenly it dawns on him that trump is still the president. His smile fades. He puts down the food. No ones around to listen to him. He wipes his greasy hands on his pants (he does this. He's gross) and takes out his phone to let us know his random thought instead.

Unpopular opinion: I feel like Green Day's routine for their live shows is stale. We get it, we get pumped to Blitzkrieg Bop/Bohemian Rhapsody before they come on stage, then the drunk bunny, then the set list, then ending with Good Riddance. I just feel like things haven't changed in over ten years. I saw them a couple of weeks ago and the whole show for me was like muscle memory, but not necessarily in a good way. There were some awesome little moments, but for the most part, I knew everything that was gonna happen. I know that being on tour and with being such a popular band, they have to stick to routine to make sure everything goes smoothly. But can't they change the routine? It's gotten old.

I agree it would be creepy if people were trying to find out who their dog walker was and track them down etc. But I believe people commenting here only know the name of the dog walker because they happened to be tagged in photos with Billie a bunch of times. Not a stalking thing. Yeah posting fake news about someone's dog dying is pretty much as low as it gets, as if posing as a band member's child wasn't already bad enough. Perhaps it would be best to stick to posting news/info that comes from the band members when it isn't something GD related. If Billie Mike or Tre want to tell us something about their family/personal life it's one thing but we don't need stuff from their family members that has nothing to do with the band reported.

I'll admit I didn't know the full context, but considering what I originally commentated on, fans knowing the name of the bands singers personal dog-walker. the thing is, the dog-walker has nothing to do with the bands music at all, so I don't see why his name would even come up, even if he WAS backstage.

It varies depending on if you like the artist I guess, but the fun is with James, he’s doing the karaoke bit singing the artist’s songs and he’s damn good. His bits with Adele, Stevie Wonder and Chris Martin were all really good too. I would just love to see Green Day do this and have James sing their songs.

Because 21st Century Breakdown was the album that really changed my life, I forget that without American Idiot I would never even have heard it. I guess really it was American Idiot that changed my life, because I'd never have got into Green Day without it, I might not have got through the years leading up to 21CB without that and people can laugh, call me a silly fangirl and say "music can't save your life" all they want - my sad teen self would've been so dead without Green Day. I am so glad that album came out 13 years ago.
