Speaking of FBHT...I was just thinking about them. I have a friend who owns a haunted castle in Cleveland. No, really. I know Cleveland seems like the last place you'd expect to find a castle, but life is strange. It has a seedy history shrouded in mystery and has been vacant for many years, until a wealthy European deejay friend purchased it to refurbish. She messaged me today and said to let her know if I wanted to "use" it to book any Halloween events next month. My first thought was, "how do I book a FBHT show in a haunted castle?!" 😛😛 seriously though, that would be amazing, can you imagine?!9 points

Sorry if it's not strictly on topic but this is so funny, Billie went on a commenting spree on this fan account earlier. "I still have this shirt". "Wish I still had this shirt." "That's the only time I wore a red tie that tour". Stahp already you dork7 points

THIS. You'd expect us crazies to keep track of pointless details like the tie, but for him to single that out with such confidence after 30 years of touring4 points

If you did this and hubby didn't want to go, I would actually consider divorce.4 points

Because he wants to? Billie would be the first person to say fuck gender norms and gender stereotyping.4 points

Everyone commenting under the Billie legs photo like "Dude, you shave your legs?" Well duh, why else is he posting this picture but to show us his silky smooth pins4 points

Even more proof that he is bored out of his mind today and spending every minute on his phone4 points

I almost blurted out "I'm wiggered" in my friends' group chat earlier. This place3 points

Same, it must be a selective memory thing. Remember he said he's a (rock and roll) fangirl himself, and he obviously cares a lot about his appearance on stage so I'm sure these details tend to stick just like they do for us Still funny though3 points

I'm seriously impressed by the level of personal grooming he's reached, considering how minimal it used to be3 points

Billie's end of tour post And his commenting spree is so sweet . "1993...dreads...I miss this era" and the tie fact sound like quotes direct from the fangirl's thread Lmao I never would've noticed otherwise. Now they have me wondering if he did, they do look much smoother than when I grabbed one once3 points

I was waiting for the guy to pick the football up and make Tre fall over like Charlie Brown. LOL3 points

Oh my god this is too funny - just went to that profile and it says he commented 24 times I'm dying. This is his day off and he's just looking at Green Day photos on instagram.3 points

It would be amazing but probably won't happen until they slow down at 60 or something. They're still too busy making history to write about it.2 points

I would love it if Billie, Mike or Tre wrote a detailed autobiography. The history of Green Day is one of the few things that interests me, and I would love to hear about it firsthand. Also, they all seem to have extremely interesting childhoods, especially Billie and Mike, and I would love to hear more about that. It would probably have some hilarious stories in it too.2 points

^^^ Tre! Wow! That's Loud! And should we be concerned that Billie is just as obsessed with Green Day as we are? I mean is that healthy?2 points

I really wish they'd do another show anywhere in Europe. I don't think I could make in to Nebraska on a couple days' notice but maybe I could pull off a last minute trip somewhere nearer2 points

Well he did get body lice in the 90's That would shock the shit out of him Probably been shaving certain parts ever since 1 point

Well I guess he could've just clicked on the ones he recognised or had something to say about. But it's still a lot of comments! (and a lot of surely awkward " " captions to expose himself to lmao)1 point

Asia isn't that bad! I've been loads of times to Japan and Singapore and I love it. My sister just returned from a year travelling around the world and she spent a few months in China, Japan and other parts of Asia. I would say I never feel safer than I do in Singapore. Probably because people are terrified of breaking the law there Green day have played Asia obviously before so I'm sure they will again but like so many other places they just don't always make it on every tour. I don't think there's any major political reason behind it. It's probably just not practical. They've played the UK but skipped Ireland from 2010 until 2017 for example. Sometimes it's just not possible to get everywhere. But who knows... Maybe they will this time.1 point

It always amused me when every single article about American Idiot would describe how much the band had changed by saying they'd gone from writing songs about jerking off to writing a rock opera. Like no they haven't quite stopped that yet1 point

Hopefully that American Idiot movie may still appear, although I'm not convinced now, it's been so long.1 point

So "KFAD/Shout" from BIAB came up on my MP3 player and it took me back to Christmas of that year. I got BIAB as a gift and I remember rushing to my room to watch it after everyone was done opening gifts. It brought so much happiness and glee. I was glued to the screen and trying to soak up every moment. And when KFAD came on, I'd never seen anything like it at the time. And of course, my friend and I would obsess over the infamous "Somebody Fuck Me!" moment. So listening to the track brought a huge smile to my face.1 point

But we will get a nice Forever Now video, hopefully with the boys in it. Plus Billie promised us some more remixes and that Foxboro Hottubs show, we'll see1 point
