When a baby attends a Green Day show in utero, it is essential they get a souvenir to take home for once they make their debut π My cousin attended the Cleveland show with me last week and surprised me with this at the hospital a few days later π13 points

I thought that this morning... I love how they probably asked him to tweet and got a wiggered new sheriff in twitter town7 points

I really missed Billie on Twitter. Let's hope he starts doing tour updates like these old classics that never fail to make me laugh -7 points

It's interesting that right after our speculation about random person running Billie's twitter account, he started posting stupid things in his old style. Hi, people from Green Day management, I hope you have fun reading GDC!5 points

@Jane Lannister told me before that Billie and Twitter is the best combination ever, but this is even better than I imagined.4 points

Wish I was up at 4 in the morning, looks like there was a party going on. Just took an hour to catch up. Can we now promise to never doubt whether its really him again, unless they used a dork double π3 points

I think Green Day should explore a more light-hearted surf/garage rock sound on their next album. The sound on songs like "Sweet 16," "Youngblood," "8th Avenue Serenade," etc could be a really cool direction and kind of fits their current surfing/Cali lifestyle. Those sounds have a very retro vibe, which could fit the band as aging rockers. Music doesn't need to be "epic" to be good, and I'd like to see some playful themes, possibly with serious undertones like with the FHT, come through.3 points

Even though it has been almost five (!!!) years since Billie went to rehab, I still find it such a difficult subject to speak about. Just tonight on the way home from our concert, my mom was like, "So he was in rehab a few years ago, right?" And I just found it so jarring. I don't even know if there's anything I can say on the subject, because going through that period was such an impossibly difficult, scary time for folks like us, and I get that it's hard for outsiders to understand how much a guy we don't know's health count impact us. And his recovery has been the most intimate, beautiful, rewarding thing to see through this entire era. Our gratitude and the band's gratitude are both through the roof β like we know better than to take each other for granted now. It's not something casual listeners can possibly comprehend. It kinda bothers me that they'd perhaps make assumptions about him or about us as fans because of what happened, though.3 points

What we really need is a twitter back & forth between Billie and Mark Hoppus. That would be the best.2 points

Your welcome - just tell him Jane wants to know that and if he reacts answer that Jane also wants him to cut his hair.2 points

I don't want to start yet another discussion on Billie's weight (I think we've had enough of that over the past few weeks) but I think we don't have to worry whether we shamed him into calorie counting in case he reads this forum, a fear stated earlier on the Green Day Instagram Photos thread.2 points

Billie's shit-posting is what I dream of doing whenever my bosses say I'm required to tweet a certain amount of times a day/week/month. Good for him, if it's actually him. I think it is, but what do I know?2 points

I don't like these conversations too. Mainly because there's nothing I can say about it - actually there isn't much else to say besides that it's happened. It's not really our business to analyze it in depth if that's why people bring it up. It's not funny and it's not as juicy as it seems. What bothers me more is that these conversations show how stigmatized addiction is. There are three types of people who've approached me about this and they were either making fun of him, judgemental, or in denial (conspiracy theories about how he made it all up for "rockstar image", anyone?). It's just so weird, so awkward.2 points
