So I was just watching some old Green Day vids on YouTube and it's so crazy to me, even though they have come a long way since I first heard them in the 90's I still see all the same love and passion in their performances. I just think it's pretty amazing to be a band for so long, and still be just as passionate about your band and music after all this time.

I've said this thousands of times before, but I just have to say it again: Bang Bang is one of GD's best songs. I fucking love it so fucking much and it just seems to get better the more I listen to it. It's perfect - the intro, the riff, the vocals, Tre's little drum solo thing - I love all of it. It just blows me away every time I hear it. It's a standout song on RevRad, imo. The fact that they brought out this little gem so far into their career just proves that they've still got some life left in them, and I love them even more for it.

I actually love 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours so much. I listened to the entire album last night. Even before Tre came along, they were an amazing band, and Tre just made them even better. There's not one bad song on that album - hell, I even like Rest. I love Billie's vocals on it, too. Voice of an absolute angel.

Call me pathetic call me what you will but all the hilarious stuff they've posted this morning on top of all the beautiful pictures from the past few days and watching the one clip I made of OW in Gothenburg (best night of my life) over and over recently, have me wheezing with laughter and literally crying all at once. I love them so much I didn't know it was possible <3<3<3

Tre's done things that mean he'll never be my fave (or second fave) but he can be amusing and sweet and as part of the band he's amazing. Billie's my favourite mostly for his incredible talent as a songwriter and performer, and Mike is my second favourite mostly for being an awesome human being. The three of them together is the thing though, their friendship is lovely to see and as a band they're greater than the sum of their parts.

Billie will always be my favorite. However, Tre is amazing. He is such an amazing drummer, you have to appreciate him for that. Despite all his crazy antics, he is an amazing musician.

He may not have written I Was There but I would have believed it if he had. So many of his lyrics were pretty mature and introspective for his age. They were mostly about girls, crushes and rejection as you'd expect but also songs like 16, Android and One of My Lies where he really obsesses over age and mortality like most teenagers don't. You can really see the affects of having lost a parent here on someone who's such a thinker. It's funny, because when he talked later about WMUWSE and how he had never written about his father before, I thought to myself, listen to some of those early songs that are full of themes of death and dying and I disagree. Maybe he didn't realize that it wasn't typical teen subject matter.

Uhh yeah I remember very vividly listening through it for the first time and being blown away by the melodies, lyrics and skill level for such a young band. That said I also had to laugh at the I Was There lyrics (not knowing at the time they were John's) - a bit funny coming from a teenager Side note - I fucking love that song almost as much as Pasalacqua and it saddens me I'll likely never hear it live. SAME!! I actually liked it better than Kerplunk at first, I found the melodies catchier and easier to get into on first hearing (Kerplunk took a few more plays to love). I LOVE the harmonies (Rest!) and the plain sophistication (guitar solos!) for a couple of teenagers. I still can't believe Billie was all of 15-17 when he wrote most of it. His talent blows me away and I shake my head and laugh every time I hear this album , it's so much better than it has a right to be.

I just woke up and saw everything they posted. lol! Mike's teeth look great, Tre looks like he's having a great time, and Billie's being Billie which is fucking awesome.

I love how in the livestreams he's gone from "where's the button that makes you go away" to just "go away!" RUDE!

I love them all, maybe I haven't listened enough to Insomniac, I don't know the songs very well yet. With most of the other albums, the more I listened to, the more I loved them. It reaches scary levels with some.

I'm kinda nervous to put this out here but, if I had to pick a favorite from the group I would pick Tre... Not that the others aren't great, there's something about Tre that I love. Including his name which is very COOL! haha!
