I hope the winner is someone who is a huge fan of Green Day, and not someone who only likes Basket Case, American Idiot and "that I walk alone song".. Nothing wrong with being a casual fan but this prize is so awesome I want it to be truly appreciated by whoever wins! So bummed that I can't participate in this contest.

So is it like the person who buys the winning sticker has to be from LA and they'll play their garage and the other thing is they'll fly someone in as long as they take a photo with a mask in any hot topic and they can go to the garage show too? hot topic is inviting random strangers to another person's house. That's a good point. It's one thing if it was just on the GD account (although I still think that's obnoxious) but it's his personal account. It may be a public personal account and he may use it for band related stuff but the account is for Billie Joe the person and all that entails, not just Billie Joe 1/3 of Green Day. Honestly, I just roll my eyes at the "stick to music" posts at this point but the ones that call him dumb as well, that shit pisses me off. Like even if you think that, what a lousy thing to say. I almost fell over laughing at one I saw though that called him dumb yet managed to have both a grammatical and spelling error in his one sentence response. Billie called out the spelling error and that made my day.

I hate the fact that people comment "stick to music" on Billie's personal instagram account. Like, it's his account and he has every right to talk about things other than music. Just because he's a famous musician, doesn't mean he's not allowed to have an opinion.

Someone in this forum has to win this and invite us all over to L.A. It'll be a blast. Edit: I checked the terms of condition, it is limited to people from some Southern California counties. And concerning the private Green Day gig it says: "A performance for winner and twenty (20) friends at the winner’s residence (execution and location to be approved by KROQ and the band), tentatively scheduled for September 19, 2017" This is like the best prize ever, I wish I could participate. Love his latest Instagram post! I love that he doesn't care about fans turning away from them because of their opinion. People who ask them to "stick to music" and stop being political just don't understand that Green Day's political views and their music are the same thing. You can't have the one without the other.
