Me too! The energy when the song kicks in at the beginning is so infectious it actually makes me laugh out loud. And their performance of it on the AMAs is still the best thing ever.

I was listening to Bang Bang the other day and it just made me realise that it's one of my favourite GD songs ever. It just seems to get better and better the more I listen to it. It's been out for almost a year, and usually I would be bored of a song by now, but I still love it so much. A smile still appears on my face every time I hear it. I love almost everything about it, especially Billie's vocals and Tre's little drum solo.

I've just been looking at statistics for the tours on Wikipedia: I noticed that there was a cancelled gig on the 4th July 2010 during the 21st Century Breakdown tour for the Heineken Jammin' Festival in Italy, which was cancelled due to bad weather. How bizarre that the Bellahouston gig in Glasgow was also cancelled on the 4th July this year (but not for bad weather). Perhaps GD should avoid gigs on the 4th July as that day seems to be jinxed!

I've always had a strange fascination with when people are having separate conversations (or reading, or thinking) and they both land on the same word at the same time. You figure of all the words in the English language (or whatever language you speak), what are the odds that both conversations would have the same exact word at the same exact moment (obviously I'm excluding words like the, and, it, etc)? Today I was scrolling through Facebook and came across a guy asking where to get dry ice. What song was playing on my computer at that exact moment? Dry Ice.

Yes Billie/ Green Day sang We Are The Champions at Reading 2004 and Billie stuck some black tape above his lip to give the impression of a mustache It's worth pointing out how much influence Queen/Freddie Mercury have very obviously had on Green Day's live shows alone. They open with Bohemian Rhapsody. There's also the, possibly overlooked, past outfit choice of Billie's during KFAD for many years.

We have these free library boxes all over my neighborhood and all around Chicago. Don't know if they are affiliated with any organization for just a grassroots movement by my neighbors and other neighbors in other areas. I love the idea although I haven't ever borrow a book, I have left a few.

Ha! I saw a Walgreens commercial the other day, and the kid in it had a giant pink flamingo float. It's spreading!

I get moments like this too when I swear the universe is trying to fuck with my head! Not strictly the same but I feel like I've seen that pink inflatable flamingo fucking everywhere on my social media feeds this past week.

Random GDA thought - what's with all the long posts

It's called a little library and it's just a small cupboard on a post with books inside. You can build your own and put it out for people to take and leave books. Lots of people have them around my city, they're pretty popular.

It's from Urban Outfitters, they constantly steal from other artists and photographers. They also once sold a shirt that said "Eat Less" and a college hoodie with blood stains on it after a shooting at this university. They're pretty shitty and I definitely wouldn't support them... :/

Totally this. And on top of everything else with the video, I love how this was a chance for him to see "real time" the outpouring of interest and interaction with the fans in a much different environment than a show. At a show you have a giant crowd and no matter where you go on stage, those closest to you are screaming and reaching in your direction at all moments. Here, he's getting a ton of comments thrown at him, but they're all streaming one by one and he can actually read what everyone's saying to him. Kind of a cool and different way to interact with the fans and audience. Also must be surreal to randomly press a button and know that thousands are engaging with you immediately from the comfort of your living room at a moment's notice. Hopefully this was a nice little reinforcement how important both he and his music are to his fans. This was awesome.

Well she comes home and the entire planet is in her living room. Any woman unprepared would not want to be on camera. He keeps turning it in her direction until finally she was like ok that's enough and Billie's reaction is so cute he's like, "Sorry, gotta go!" Chastened by the wife. 😂

Wish I could like this more!! Well Jakob was cool with it, he even did a little dance but Adrienne was pretty pissed, didn't want to look at the screen when Billie asked her to and left the room when he mentioned the puzzle. Hands up all those who think this when they are talking to annoying people in daily life. If only!!

That was the cutest thing in the world to wake up to. Jakob asking what he's streaming on and Billie going, "Ummm, it's my BillieJoeArmstrong." What a cute family, and what a dork of a lead singer we have.

I miss the crooked teeth, these look fake. 🙁 But this was a cool thing for him to do. He's bored, he misses an audience and we miss him too so this was much appreciated. My daily Billie fix that will keep me happy until the tour resumes. ❤️

I follow them all on insta and I'm fairly certain it's no big deal and probably Mike did it accidentally. For one Mike had just liked Billies post on insta cause I saw it, plus I don't think he ever followed Adrienne just like Tre doesn't follow her, so I don't think he unfollowed both. Anyways just my opinion. 😊
