Sorry but this is the best typo ever
I love charity but I take issue with the fact that the group describe themselves as a "collective of servants" who are "fulfilling the spiritual and nutritional needs of the community" and "building authentic disciples of Jesus Christ".
There are loads of charities that just give help to the homeless (or the needy) without trying to convert them. Or as East Jesus Nowhere might put it, without trying to "save" them
Even though Im not religious we do have a church run pantry like this - I donate non perishables - its a good thing & it was probably a good excuse for Tre to play a round of god.
Didn't buy it but my sister purchased a Green Day shirt for my birthday. It is pretty nice, has Billie's Blue on it and says Thanks mom under it. Also has some Revolution Radio lyrics on it.
That doesn't necessarily mean trying to convert the homeless people they give food to though, could just be referring to themselves and their volunteers (ie by working for this good cause you'd be fulfilling your spiritual needs and being a disciple of Jesus Christ). Or they might offer "spiritual" services separately from the food distribution side. Can't assume they're trying to convert people while helping them with food.
...clicked on the link for "God's Pantry" and got a brief description in their own words of who they are...
God's Pantry
A diverse collective of servants joined together in unity, fulfilling the spiritual and nutritional needs of the community, building authentic disciples of Jesus Christ.
Ooookaaay then
I'm watching the recording studio and the pre-Cologne gig Facebook lives and I'm laughing just as much as the 1st times. They need to do some more Facebook lives
You can look up the Warner/Reprise address and try to send a letter there, but they don't usually reply to letters or send out autographs. If you're going to any shows on this tour, they've been briefly greeting fans after most of them
