I don't even remember the last timE I bought something from Hot Topic, I hate going in there, but today I went in hoping to find the shirt with Blue on it and thankfully they had it! I got an XL, which is a big deal for me because I've lost a ton of weight this year and it's one of the first XL shirts I've bought since 2008!

Poprocks & Coke is such a refreshing and calming song to listen to! I was listening to my Green Day playlist on shuffle earlier, and it came on straight after Take Back & Basket Case. As I was obviously headbanging wildly to TB and BC, it felt nice to have a mellow and more subdued song following them that I could recover to! I also love the message of Poprocks & Coke, and I just can't help but think how cute and appropriate it would be for a wedding playlist!

Cute song, the vocal makes it sound like Rancid but the guitar licks have Billie's stamp all over them. Nice blend.

Anyway, let's all share a moment of anger at Billie repeatedly teasing us with Insomniac songs in the downtime and then not playing anything from that album for the whole tour. Looks like it! Me too. It's one of my favorites.

Funny that he should post anything related to Insomniac, when they hadn't played a single song from that album on tour. However, this is exciting!

Exactly a year ago today, I became a fan of Green Day, and I can honestly say it has been the best year of my life. This band has changed my life so much in a year. They've made me a different person, a much better person. They've taught me so much about music - I've discovered so many great bands because of them. They've made me so much more aware of what is/was happening in the world, both in the past and the present. I never thought three guys on the other side of the world could have such an impact on me. I love everything about this band - their music, their live shows, their attitudes and opinions towards different topics, their sense of humour. They never fail to make me smile. I just love this band so much and I'm so proud to call myself a Green Day fan.

Same, always loved Letterbomb but still get surprised every time I experience it live because it's just SO amazing and absolutely magical. And Billies speeches are a nice touch!

Nearly two weeks too late with this thought, but here goes! I've always loved practically everything about Letterbomb and always thought of it as one of the "undiscovered" gems on American Idiot. I honestly didn't think I could adore it more, but after hearing it in Dublin, I have a new appreciation for the song, which is surprising because y'know, I thought it was such a flawless song to begin with and nothing could make it better! Billie's Trump-bashing and speech in the middle also complimented it wonderfully
