I'd like to present you all with the following amazing Facebook comment from Skids' announcement about them opening in Glasgow: Such eloquence, and clearly from someone supremely knowledgeable.3 points

Years later, I still find the sound of a toilet flushing in the middle of Android extremely hilarious2 points

I mean, they're not all as good as the one you posted but I just like them haha. The one where a belt is thrown on stage and kinkiness ensues (4:20 - 5:15) is always good2 points

I love old Paper Lanterns videos, I think I've watched them all . The King for a Day of its time!2 points

@AimieeSmith Aren't you comparing Apples with Oranges here though? I mean, the picture from the top seems (to me) to be from one of the club tour shows, so a much smaller concert venue, where there isn't any need for such a large amp/head set-up. The picture underneath from 2009 (or possible 2010) is more likely in an Arena or Stadium... EDIT: Yes, in Arenas, Stadiums or Festivals he still uses a larger set-up (obviously): 2013: 2017:2 points

Definitely wouldn't mind seeing Homecoming rather than for example Letterbomb or JOS. And damn they look good in that video. I had to revisit an old classic - who said they used to rip through songs in the 90s? My favourite moment is the epic high five at 6.33.2 points

Were they interviewing him over the phone and Billie eventually hung up because he was so annoyed by the questions? I remember one like that.1 point

He is! I still have to chuckle at that model-like pose. I totally should have tried if the password is revrad12341 point

^i wonder how many of them were actually on Looks like some a bit bigger amps + heads...I don't think there's much of a difference in his sound so the effect he gets from the two is similar1 point
-
But look at BJ, he's perfect! I've never seen the name before so it definitely made me chuckle coming back from the show. And you should've hacked the wifi, I bet the password is either coffee, hey-oh or justthetip.1 point

Does anyone know why Mike only has 2 amps now compared to his 6 black ones used on some of the AI and 21st BD Tours ? he used at BIAB i think1 point

It was meant to but to me it's funny So many escalators and lifts are of the Otis brand. I began to notice it too. Even more randomly - I wish I had tried to connect to GD's wifi hotspot when I had the chance on Sunday. It was password protected so I had no chance to actually use it but it would have been saved in my phone and that would be pretty cool haha1 point

You mean 9 in 35 minutes right? I know I know, it's just funny that that song turned into 8 minutes of mudslinging, mic/guitar trashing, mooning, call and response and a kid on stage to top it off I saw that on insta and thought it was badass lol Yet another random thought: the lift in my Gothenburg hotel was called Otis, no joke.1 point

What the hell is a pop posty punk Well they're welcome to pay £60 or whatever it was to see ~30mins of Skids then leave.1 point

I would love it if they just swapped JOS for Homecoming, just for one show. Or one day, they might play AI in it's entirety like they did with Dookie.1 point

I've rarely heard of a line cleverer than “maybe you’re the runner up but the first one to lose the race”... Damn, I love this album so much, but especially Horsehoes and Handgrenades.1 point

God I love Billie, he's just so laid back there...here we are. We have arrived to play some rock and roll. But...today I'm off! Just a killer guy, one of my idols since I was a kid1 point

I wonder if it's unpopular to dislike the Minority video? The "minority" parade is just a bunch of averagely dressed good looking white adolescents all the same age and looking the same with a couple of slightly goth looking girls thrown in, and the CGI balloons of the band are beyond terrible. Only decent part is the band's antics on the float and the piece of trivia (which I hope is true) that apparently Billie was asked not to wear that old man cardigan but insisted on it.1 point

I feel like the reason I really came around on 21CB is that I started to respect the band as people a lot more. It really made me respect the album and really go from thinking it was just okay to seriously thinking it was great. And I feel like for the first time since I listened to it for the fist time I actually... *breathes* LIKE Know Your Enemy. I know, crazy right? I was listening to it while working out and man that song is so hype! It's a bit repetitive but I actually felt like it made me feel really good and now I think it's a super cool song. I also really like Last Night On Earth now too. Just such a chill song. Definitely gives me an almost post-apocalyptic feeling (Does anyone else get that too? ).1 point

I've only just discovered this and holy fuck I've been missing out. Honestly if they'd put that on Dos I'd have fucking loved it. Also I just rewatched their Ramones covers at the HoF and my god they look so young. Also I like how Billie couldn't help adding another HEY HO LET'S GO at the end even though it was a crowd of old rich men really not at all suited to punk.1 point

Definitely some great lyrics there! I think Billie's a genius lyrically, that song is a prime example for sure.1 point

I never liked or appreciated Macy's Day Parade in the past. I always thought it was a terrible song. But yesterday when I was driving home from work I was listening to Warning and when it came on I really listened to the lyrics and thought about it and fell in love with the song. It's one of my favorites on Warning now. I think the lyrics are very deep and meaningful.1 point

Oh to have the luxury of still being new to all of Insomniac and Nimrod My two cents: listen to everything repeatedly1 point

Corrupted Morals / Crummy Musicians. Crummy was kind of like a side band of Corrupted Morals. Billie played guitar for both bands upon occasion. In 1989, the bands toured the South West. Billie and Mike went on tour with them. Billie played guitar for Corrupted Morals and Mike sang for Crummy. Here's Billie playing with Corrupted Morals in 1989 And here's Billie and his friend/Green Day roadie Lucky Dog (who was also in Crummy) playing with Corrupted Morals in 19901 point
