Not dirty enough

I recall Dad asking me last year if Green Day had ''finally started to show signs of maturity'' On the evidence of what the boys have posted on Instagram recently (the selfies and the Muppet puppets), and the Facebook lives, the answer to Dads question is a resounding NO!

Really? How much for a cheap looking stuffed toy that happens to be wearing a tiny gd shirt.

Sometimes people follow pages they disagree with for entertainment, without knowing someone's reasons for it can't really draw any conclusions. I guess to be someone's guitar tech you're not going to be grilled on your political opinions anyway, but still.

But that's the dream, a show with the puppets! lol.

I've moved your thread into the existing 'Random Green Day Thoughts' topic, as this is the best place to post quick, one-off thoughts that don't quite need their own thread - there'll probably be more discussion about it in here too. The 'Welcome to Paradise' section of the forum and the guidelines have plenty more information to help you get started on GDC. Sorry you couldn't get a ticket to Madrid I'd love to get up on stage with Green Day too, I'm sure it's a dream that lots of us share. Unfortunately, like you said, it's really unlikely to happen, but even if you don't get called up you'll have still seen an awesome rock show, which is well worth going to. Hopefully you're able to see the band live not too long in the future!

I'm listening to Green Day for the first time in months. I don't know why, but i'm getting all emotional and teary-eyed. I guess listening to their older stuff makes me realize that i'm getting older and "i'm getting bored and I'm going nowhere fast".

Billie was a vegetarian, but he started eating meat again because he lost too much weight. Tré was class president for a time when he was in high school.
