I didn't know Jason was also sober. And regarding the comments under Billie's last post, I laugh out loud at the ones who say that we need to accept Trump and respect him as our president. Bullshit. He hasn't earned any respect, exactly the opposite, and he was elected with the help of a hostile foreign government. Oh and don't worry about the supposed "fans" who say that this post turned them against Billie. A lot of them are criticizing him for being political, which is laughable. Obviously they haven't listened to a lot of Green Day.

I never liked or appreciated Macy's Day Parade in the past. I always thought it was a terrible song. But yesterday when I was driving home from work I was listening to Warning and when it came on I really listened to the lyrics and thought about it and fell in love with the song. It's one of my favorites on Warning now. I think the lyrics are very deep and meaningful.

I see comments under that post saying the Paris agreement didn't actually do anything and that Billie's just whining about Donald Trump as a ''butthurt liberal''. While we can debate the efficiency of this particular agreement, we have to acknowledge that walking away from it in this way basically says to the world what we knew all along; Donald Trump doesn't give a damn about the environment in any way (how could he, he called it a hoax by the Chinese). He's a business man and a climate change denying business man at that. We can debate how much corporate democrats or other left wing politicians care about protecting the environment. However, unlike Trump and his administration, they'd never consider getting rid of important regulations or walking out of an international agreement in that way. Should we have a public discourse to hold to account corrupt politicians that don't do enough against climate change? Sure! But I'll tell you one thing, loosening/getting rid of regulations, cutting funding to the EPA and appointing a complete moron to run it and leaving the Paris Climate Change agreement will do f**k all against climate change! So don't you bullshit me!

I don't think that's odd, they probably landed in Köln/Bonn and drove to Düsseldorf, maybe cause they've never been here I follow Stella on Instagram and in her story she said something like "can't wait to move here" so maybe that's why Very sorry 😄 we were frantically searching for pictures in hopes that we would be able to see them, but when we realized they were there, it was 3 hrs too late 😅

Boring??? Totally demonic verses with some of Billie's weirdest lyrics contrasted with a catchy chorus, and a fabulous evil laugh. I think it's one of their most interesting/least boring songs Rest is GD's cheesiest song but I kind of like it for it, like a lot of the songs on that album the lyrics are sappy but they're sung so earnestly that it's sweet and charming.

The 'Welcome to Paradise' section of the forum and the guidelines have plenty more information to help you get started on GDC. Sorry you couldn't get a ticket to Madrid I'd love to get up on stage with Green Day too, I'm sure it's a dream that lots of us share. Unfortunately, like you said, it's really unlikely to happen, but even if you don't get called up you'll have still seen an awesome rock show, which is well worth going to. Hopefully you're able to see the band live not too long in the future!
