So I undress hastily, climb on the windowsill nudely Gotta show my ass and make the fandom explode12 points

Good old Billie. Okay so if it was anyone else it could be considered weird, but the man is a born exhibitionist! His brother even said that when he was a kid he loved to show his bum, he apparently streaked during a swimming lesson when he was like ten, there's the tour video where he has the urge to film a close up of his penis when he goes to the toilet from when he was like 18, and since then the number of times he's gleefully flashed his bum, crotch or whole body in public is too many to count. Of course he might do it less often being older and calmer but clearly the guy is comfortable with being naked and thinks it's fun/funny to strip off for a laugh from time to time whatever his sobriety status is. Literally no point whatsoever in worrying about it. I love the "Happy Green Day fuckers!" caption too, he's just a cheeky () little so and so.12 points

Hasn't Billie showed his naked ass at shows since the dawn of time...? I cant people believe how offended people are. "A BARE BUTTOCKS?! ON THE INTERWEBS?! MOST UNORTHIDOX!!" Lol10 points
-
No offence everyone, but there's something I want to add to this conversation. Even though I understand the concern some people feel, it's not ok to happily post away your assumptions regarding if he was or wasn't wasted or what his family/band/team/neighbors would or wouldn't do if he was. This is something that kinda bothers me - as soon as people find out someone had a problem in the past, they start analyzing this person's actions from that viewpoint - "Is he high again????" I find it a bit stupid especially because no one can tell and it's a bit shit thing to do anyway (this stigmatizing behavior is one of reasons why many people don't seek help). You know, people do all kinds of things and have all kinds of reasons. I know most people who do that in this fandom mean well, but it's old and annoying. </rant over> I'm surprised Facebook didn't take it down.9 points

The last thing I'd ever expect to see on gdc would be people offended by BJ's ass.7 points

My final thoughts on the Billie post is that having glanced at the IG reactions there are basically four groups of reactions. Those who basically are just like what the fuck what are you doing, those who think he's hilarious and such a punk, those who want to fuck him/detail how much they want his body and then those who are convinced he's off his face. I know he's not a complete moron. He knows people will react in certain ways to his posts and behaviour. I wonder why if sober he would feel the need to post a naked picture of himself online. It's not something I personally feel fits with his behaviour since getting sober. That's all. I'm off to wash out my eyes after reading all the "fuck me daddy" and "turn around so we can see your cock daddy" posts.5 points

Every time this topic comes up you always go at length about it, analyzing interviews and instagram pictures and whatnot and I have a question - why? What is it good for? We don't know people close to Billie went about his addiction and it doesn't even matter because we don't need that information at all. It's totally irrelevant.4 points

As unexpected as it was, to be scrolling through my innocent Instagram feed, and then to come upon Billie's bleached white baby ass, I found it more hilarious than anything.4 points

Thought you said you were done talkin bout this. C'mon we will never know and its best not to create this weird stigma around the photo. (not blaming you at all) I just think we should all take a beat and push onward.4 points

None of us will ever know the context of this photo and who are we to judge or speculate? It's a silly (and very unexpected) picture. Typical shenanigans - he's a rock star, after all. Enjoy it for what it is, or look away. Age is a number, not a lifestyle with an assigned set of boundaries. Who's to say what "normal" behavior for a 45 year old is? The new music is amazing, the shows have been awesome, he looks great, and he seems happy and healthy. He is who he is and that's why we love him. 💚4 points

Pretty sure Billie does not, and never has, lived by the "rules" of what he is expected to, or not to, do for whatever age he is at. Once a punk always a punk.4 points

Sadly, yes. https://www.google.cz/amp/www.telegraph.co.uk/women/life/instagram-deletes-womans-period-photos-but-her-response-is-amazing/amp/ Yeah, you must be right. He's got a butt privilege. #buttpositivity3 points

Yeah the "fuck me" "turn around boy" "bet he and 80 were having sex now I'm hot" comments on my Facebook timeline are much worse than the concerned ones here ffs3 points

I admit my first reaction was concern. But then I thought, someone had to take that photo. I would think Adrienne, or someone very close to him. Said person would certainly know the destructive consequences of his behavior before rehab. The effects on the band, album sales, and his family. If he were really hammered would that person snap a playful photo encouraging that? I would think not. I hope not. God, I hope not. I think if he were starting that dangerous spiral again they would force his cute little tush to get help asap. Not take photos of it. Of course we don't know what's going on. But I'm just taking it as something silly and spontaneous.3 points

Yeah, I accidentally opened it up on my work computer. Cleared out my history after that. That's why I always found it funny during the Facebook live at Otis last year that, when going up the stairs, he pulled his pants up and said "Don't want you to see my butt crack". Honey, anyone watching that video has seen a hell of a lot more than that. That's what I heard too. And now I'm going insane because I can't find it. I remember they were at the beach, and it's a blink and you miss it scene, but I remember pausing because I was trying to get a better look at it. Edit- Found it! About 30-31 seconds in.2 points

He's always done crazy, exhibitionist things like mooning or sticking his hands down his pants and I don't think he'll ever lose this side of him even when he's 80. While I can see why people are being concerned post-rehab, I think this is a case of Billie being himself.2 points

Butts are fine with me! That did not go unnoticed. WB promo person just earned points.2 points

yikes, really? I would be surprised if nobody did, I'm thinking of all the I-Want-To-See-The-Manager-Moms who took offense in their children being exposed to such a horrific thing and all the Trump supporters who hate his guts. I believe it was reported several times but Instagram just didn't bother to delete it because Billie is a celebrity and the photo got tons of reactions, which is a good thing for Instagram. They're probably a lot more liberal when it comes to celebs2 points

She met up with them in NY for the Brooklyn show, looks like she was there last night too. If it's a very recent picture, she could have taken it!2 points

Of course they posted it. It has nearly 180,000 likes on Billie's page in a few hours. That's unheard of for them. There's no such thing as bad publicity.2 points

But maybe, Billie being Billie, he just didn't want people getting too comfortable with the guy who is visiting the concession stand and doing a puppet show. That would fit with his personality, pre or post sober. I personally think he and Adrienne were being ridiculous and she took the pic, and he thought, "hell lets throw em a curveball on IG". And it worked.2 points

I think people are reading into things too much after the meltdown. Just because he's sober now doesn't mean that he can't do daft/crazy things like this- he is a rockstar. And we've all seen his ass before anyway2 points

Curious: How do we know the picture is recent? I mean, technically this picture could have been taken in 2012 and he thought it was funny to post now.1 point

I totally agree that there's no need to worry unless he says he isn't alright and it should just be taken as what it is, a post that's meant to be funny. It's also understandable though that people who care about him worry irrationally and I don't think most of the fans expressing concern here intend to start speculation or dissect anything.1 point
