  1. I just listened to Somewhere Now after taking a break from it for a few weeks, and I'm just so glad that they made that song, that it exists and it didn't end up somewhere in a drawer.

  2. Not sure if this is unpopular but I think Revolution Radio might be one of my top 3 favorite albums. It's just SO good! and Youngblood is one of the best songs on there and I'm obsessed with it

  6. I've seen Youngblood live and it wasn't one of the more memorable songs on the setlist. The other 5 new songs that I've heard live were all way better and more memorable than it.

  7. I won't be hearing it live. That is when I will be going potty. It is set apart from the rest of the album, the rest is great.

  8. Tune the guitar's down one step or half a step. Like for example Led Zeppelin did that in Stairway to haeven in 2008... Tuned the guitar's down a step and sounded good.

  11. Hey, I'm sort of with you! I tended to skip it when delving into AI for real recently, maybe because the start of it felt kinda anti-climactic after instant highlight Homecoming? I like the remember whatever part on a good day though, there's just so many other songs that need attention. So yeah, I think we're on the same page (including re: Lazy Bones!) I find the songs that take the longest to grow on you and click are the ones that you truly feel when they do anyway, so there's no point rushing it (that goes for Brutal Love too )

  12. I can't stand any of the musical songs. I can't even get through the album because it makes me cringe so much (especially when it's the guys singing) . Just not a fan of that style of singing/performance at all.

  13. That is interesting because I feel the exact opposite. I think Billie's performance of that song was just so beautiful and perfect that no one else can do the song justice. The song in the play was just a real let down for me.

  14. Whatsername is perfection. Lyrically, musically and vocally. I would die on the spot if they ever played it live at a show I'm going to. I think it's next to Still Breathing the most emotional GD song for me.

  17. Also Instagram needs to get with it and make these replayable, otherwise I don't see the point.

  18. Not a weird place, but nevertheless unexpected. Yesterday I joined a concert evening in the local bar. Two bands were announced, one school band, and another one with guys in their early 20´s, I´d say. The music was said to be German punk/punkrock/rock. I attended the show just to find out what kind of music young people in my town would listen to, aaaand because I hardly ever see teenagers in my home town. ;-) So I was just curious, who would come and see them. First it looked I was the only old fart among a handful of teenagers. But when the first band started, the room was crowded. Many young people, but also middle aged ones, a fine mixture of generations. The first band started with an old Green Day song! I wasn´t expecting that. And they went on, playing many very old Green Day stuff up to the AI era. And really good! I was both surprised and enthusiastic. The second band played mostly German punkrock, but then, just in between - Green Day again! So I had a wonderful Green Day evening, totally unexpected, and now I know what young people in my town like to listen to. Good people. ;-)

  20. My guess is when he heard it, it had to have been a fan working there that put it on. So the next question would be, why didn't you hear anything else from Awesome As F**k? Would be weird for them to just put on one song, and also, that specific one. I personally would want to find them and be like wow, good song choice.
