When I was at Newcastle station waiting for my train to Leeds to see the Green Day gig in Leeds, I noticed that the toilet door had an 'Armitage Shanks' fitting. Laughing, I remember thinking to myself ''wouldn't it be funny if they played Armatage Shanks tonight?''. Well they did just that and it was the only time that song was played during the European tour. Also when I was on the train I spotted an 'Armstrong Street'. How bizarre!
Another thing that could help is wearing a band shirt that Billie likes. Maybe Cheap Trick, the Clash, Operation Ivy, y'know? And if you want to play the song, practice it at home first
I'm not sure who it was, but someone shared on GDC that Billie told him "if you bring a sign, I'm not going to pick you" at one of the shows this year But I think he did bring up people with signs before, so you never know... I personally wouldn't make one and just consider it luck.
Every time I go to my Green Day playlist, I always find myself coming back to No One Knows. Mike's bass playing on it is phenomenal and I just love the atmosphere of the song. The lyrics are extremely mature in it as well - they were wise beyond their years back in the day
Lmao at Tre choosing that picture. I like how he said "I eat ribs with this dude" like Billie did for his birthday a couple of months ago too . Also all the Valentines posts are adorable.
Holy fuck I took a break from Revolution Radio for like a couple weeks and I just listened to it now straight through without skipping a single fucking song and its so much better than I previously felt. Its actually really really good in my opinion and with the current climate of things its pretty relevant and a great way to vent emotions. Somewhere now is still my favorite. I dont care if it makes me sound lame but Green Day is really fucking incredible and I wish more people would give them credit.
That is so weird. Billie's disembodied head from the American Idiot era just sitting on Kurt's shoulder?!
(ps sorry mods but for some stupid reason it won't allow me to remove the image from the quote)
