This era made me fall back in love with Green Day hardcore. I've never not been a fan but looking back I can see I wasn't as into them during the trilogy era as I had been previously. In 2009 I skipped school to book tickets to see them, in 2013 I bought a ticket for Emirates AGES after they went on sale and I wasn't on GDC and the general excitement level was just below what i'd always had. This era however has been amazing, my love has come back big time, I love the album, I'm back here making dumb posts, and the two gigs I just went to were overwhelming and emotional and just kick ass. I just love this band and i love you guys and hey, I'm not even drunk making this post

I have the link to GD's Twitter account on my home screen so I just decided out of curiosity to see which users the account follows. One of them is @POTUS which is now entitled "President Trump", so someone may need to unfollow that account!

The Forgotten is so underrated. I love the music and lyrics are something I can easily relate to. The arrangement is simple but emotional enough to the spirit of the song.

I hate the way it was recorded though, I starts out so quiet and then blasts my ear drums out when the rest of the song kicks in....

Does anyone know if the SNL musical guests are set for the season yet? I feel like with their tour and the very political tone of the show right now GD is just a perfect fit. And now that he's also an "actor" Billie should be in a skit. I'm sorry if this has been discussed in another thread, can't find it at the moment.

When I'm stressed out because of work or the general state of my country at the moment, Green Day is literally the only thing that makes some of that tension leave my body. I can leave work feeling like a hot mess and as soon as I get in the car and have some Green Day time, I'm so much happier and more relaxed.

Just watched Brodway Idiot again. 1) realised I the one time I've been to the US and New York was right after it premiered and 2) Billie and Adrienne (+Tré) as they hear LAst Night on Earth for the first time is too intense for words
