They played Youngblood last night, it sounded great and the audience went mental, all the new songs were great, the crowd, round me at least, were very emotional during SB. It was funny, I don't remember so many expressing their particular desire for songs before, woman in front went mad when She started, and a guy behind (in his suit) was going "please play JoS, please play JoS" so of course went loopy when they did. It was an awesome set listen last night, including KFAD, last time I saw them play it, I kind thought its time was past, but it was great last night, little shorter, lots going on and lots of fun. I though a lot of the younger fans were really surprised by it, there was a bit of "what is this" when's it started, and then they we're off. It was great.

This is strange but I somehow began to like Youngblood. The concert version especially. I was always telling myself "Oh, man, the lyrics are cringe, oh, it's too repetitive" but now I can't resist anymore, it's catchy, fun and could be placed easily in the middle of Warning next to Hold on, for example. Judging by the videos it's even better live than Troubled Times and I love the latter more as a song.

I love him for using the #neverthelessshepersisted hashtag.

I hear many lyrics wrong I'm sure, but first few times I heard Billie singing 86 I heard:"theres no return from any sex"... and thought ok...that is interesting^^

No one knows is the proof that GD had already reached their musical maturity in Kerplunk. What a fucking great bassline. I actually find difficulties while playing that. My fingers are too little. I need to grow up!

Don't worry @Scattered Wreck is forcing me to embrace KFAD on this tour - she will love Youngblood after she has seen it live.

Nuclear Family was the perfect way to start an ambitious idea like the Trilogy. Needless to say that it's an underrated album opener.

When you force yourself to listen to a different artist to prepare for a concert but you would really really really rather just listen to Green Day instead because at least their music makes you feel something. This feels like an assignment and I feel stressed. But I'm seeing ADTR on Friday and I have only ever listened to WSMFY, oops...

I assume it is a wordplay, mixing "idiot" and "deviant".

Personally, I would be over the moon if GD released a sequel to American Idiot. I want to know what the Jesus of Suburbia is up to, as I think his story isn't finished yet.

I realized after looking at those new GD pins, that the one thing I don't like about the RevRad era is everything with the goddamn masks everywhere! They freak me out

Restless Heart Syndrome has the power to make you reflect and make you want to burn down a barn at the same time. It's so poignant, yet it speaks the truth in such an emotional, almost frantic, way. It's a masterpiece.

Also, I love how when people want to throw the Green Day isn't punk argument around the first band they compare them to is the Sex Pistols. Yeah, because John Lydon is very punk rock doing I can't believe it's not butter commericals, if we're gonna get that petty. Personally, I don't care what they call themselves. I still love their music
