  2. A local radio started playing Still Breathing, it just came on a moment ago and I have to say this song keeps growing on me. I love it. I don't really mind the lyrics anymore and now I can feel more emotion in it that I originally would.

  3. It's almost Tré's fourth birthday. Time goes by so fast, I can't get enough of this album, such perfection. Of course I'll be listening this the whole week. Walk Away is such a great song.

  4. I'm pretty sure I've posted everything there was - either in this thread, in the Billie Joe Armstrong picture thread or in the thread that had the original article (and if they aren't there then they're probably on my tumblr)

  5. "You get right back up again. You look for a new adventure, and you fight even harder for it this time." I like you attitude, Mr. Armstrong.

  6. I wonder what he looks like in 2028. Still awesome I bet I really don´t understand people who say: "Nah Green Day they´re so old." Because they look much better than One direction or whatever. And there are the Rolling Stones who are even much older and they still make great music

  7. I think Billie was having problems before the Trilogy, I think his time in New York from the Musical probably contributed, this might have been said before, I maybe totally wrong but it seemed to me he was letting out so many demons back then, he seemed to be partying pretty hard with the Cast, people around, I remember he said he finally found friends but with this also comes lots of destruction and hangers on because of who he is, It must be hard for him to not trust people and let them into his life, for any famous person it can be very isolating. I do wonder if he has an addictive personality so whatever it is he gets hooked on it eventually drags him down. I think the Trilogy (and I also have mixed feelings about it) got him through from whatever it was to now, I am glad it happened, he's lucky he has his talent and has this avenue to explore every single part of who he is and he can get things out of him, I am glad he is not afraid to share it with us, one of his most endearing qualities is his obvious vulnerability. he's human he shares it with us warts and all and for that I will always be thankful he went through the Trilogy. Probably just put this in the wrong thread haha x

  8. I think a majority think it's not that great and just a very vocal minority hate it . When it came out most people said they liked it, I think most people like at least some of it but just don't think it's their best work. I still love it (in case anyone was wondering ), Rev Rad only makes me like it more because it really falls into place being this crazy mid life crisis journey before the (literally ) more sober album.

  9. Anyways, I MUST like the Trilogy. It's a part of my life (my middle school). If I had never listened to Stray Heart on MTV that 22 of December 2012 (that's why my name is End Of The World, I discovered GD the day after the predicted end of the world, December 21st 2012) now I wouldn't know anything about GD. I grew up with that albums and I learned to play the bass with that songs...

  10. I really like the Trilogy. I can't understand why it's so underrated. What I like much of Uno, Dos and Trè is their mixing, that a lot of people seem to consider one of its worst thing. I mean, when Nuclear Family begins it's so powerful and the sound is very full. Of course you can't ask a band to keep always the same raw sound of Dookie/Insomniac: GD need to evolve, right? Another fact is that GD released 37 songs where at least two thirds of them can compare with their greatest works (all the singles, expecially X-Kid and songs like Lady Cobra, Ashley, Little Boy Named Train, Nuclear Family and the amazing Brutal Love). IMO most people don't appreciate the albums just because of that third of songs they don't like. I tried several times to listen to the three albums in order and it has always been awesome, because I could experience all kinds of emotions from the fun of Kill The DJ to the sadness of The Forgotten. Maybe people just don't like the idea of 3 albums released in 3 months. Actually that's very cool. I remember listening to it while playing NFS
