Was on my way out this evening and heard Still Breathing on the radio as well. Then on our way back, about an hour and a half later, the same station played it again. It's starting!

I don't know, Trump criticizes the current state of the government a lot and personally I'd like to pulverize him (as would many Americans), so maybe it still works?

So random, but I was listening to "X Kid", my favorite from the Trilogy and thought how perfect that song would have been on Revolution Radio, with that mixing, engineering, and in the thematic context of Revolution. It's just a great song and it got lost in the incoherent, underproduced jumble of the Trilogy. It would have fit perfectly on Revolution Radio. Just my opinion.

I actually don't know my ideal playlist. I'm sure of just two things: - First song: Welcome to Paradise - Last song: Forever Now (epic)

X-Kid was the best song on the entire trilogy IMO. It didn't do well on the radio back in 2013. Maybe today it would be different. I liked Trilogy a lot, production included. But RevRad one is better, except Outlaws. X-Kid in a RR light would be perfect.

So I showed hubby the Still Breathing video when it came out. Thought he didn't like the song (not sure about the video). But he came home from work telling me that the local alternative radio station played it and he really liked it.

Random thought; is it just me or does Mike always look so majestic when he's playing? Idk he just kind of makes me think of a big, majestic lion. Like Mufasa or something... Aww, you're so lucky! I haven't heard any Irish stations play it so far. I know one station played Bang Bang about twice when it first came out, then a few others rotate Good Riddance/BOBD/21 Guns now and again. I'd love to hear more GD on the radio!! Both of my brothers are the exact same, they just don't understand why I love this band with my entire life!!!! I totally agree! It reminds me of Outlaws in the sense that they're both about youth and past memories. Rev Rad's production would be fabulous for this song!!!

Oh my god, I finally got around to ordering my chosen songs for my ideal playlist today, and they are my opening and closing songs, no joke!!!!!

Yeah, it is. It peaked just 35th on the alternative US chart. I like Outlaws very much. I meant I don't like its production. For example I don't feel comfortable in the first verse, it looks like drums is faded. In fact my favourite part is the second verse, where every instruments is clear. Oh, and the bass is simple but awesome...

I didn't know x-kid was a single! Outlaws is awesome. It's one of my faves off revrad.

I was planning on ordering one for Halloween, but alas, didn't get to it in time. Maybe next year if they still have them. I am thinking of ordering some of their coffee though, really excited to try it!

I like it as well. Most hoodies tend to be black so my thought when I purchased it was "who else will have a mustard yellow hoodie?"

I think it's more of a female colour to be honest, probably wouldn't look so bad on females. Definitely getting the one linked above, just another one to add to the collection of black hoodies I have haha

Another amusing anecdote about my mum and Green Day I was telling her about Matty Healy (lead singer in The 1975) being pulled onstage to play bass at a Green Day concert when he was a kid/teenager. Me: Matty was onstage with Green Day when he was a kid Mum: What? How old is he? Me: 27 Mum: ... when did Green Day form? Me: Uh. In the 80s. Her: How old is Billie? Me: Um, 43? 44? Her: HOW LONG AGO DID WE SEE THEM?! Me: The first time? Eleven years ago. Or seven years ago for the second time. She then proceeded to have a bit of a meltdown and demanded I show her a recent photo of Billie, which she was incredulous about and thought was from the AI era

Anyone still remembering freaking out about the 'One week' post back in the 'Green Day in the studio 2016' thread? EDIT: Those were the days. On Saturday we heard rumors about Bang Bang and the day after an unofficial track list (which we now know to be completely accurate) was published. That weekend was legit the one the year's best.

I kind of need someone to hold my hand and tell me I'm not crazy or dreaming. I've now bought my tickets to see Green Day for every date they're playing in Australia. It was a bit of a rash decision to add Perth and I guess I didn't believe it was happening until I clicked to pay for my ticket. This is all very overwhelming. I've never seen them more than once on a tour before, and now I'm seeing them five times in less than two weeks?! Help me, I don't know how to process my emotions right now. Is this actually real life? I can't really talk to anyone about this because no one seems to truly understand how much this band means to me

If there's another song that I would like to hear as a closer it would be Minority. But of course without the Introducing the band part.
