  2. So many cool pics of the guys around at the moment - I think this one is from the Fillmore show I'm sure someone said to me once that Billie could look in different directions with each eye lol!

  3. When I'm not paying attention (which is the only time Youngblood is tolerable tbh) I hear "punch Sydney Youngblood" not "punch drunk and youngblood". Makes the song more entertaining. So did @basketcase4933, well "debutantes on Sertraline" I thought she might be right and I was like yeah my medication is in a Green Day song! But alas they don't love me that much. It would be a better lyric.

  7. In Revolution Radio, instead of 'legalise the truth', I hear 'we call lies the truth'. I thought it was a commentary of newspaper headlines not being entirely truthful!

  10. If you think the photo is weird watch the video where he looks in with his left eye and then rolls the right one in so that is the end result - is there no end to the man's talent!

  11. My gf ruined Are We The Waiting for me. When I was listening to it she came up and said "Are they saying wee wee?!" So now every time I hear that song, I hear "Wee wee." She even sang and laughed about it when we saw them live in 2013. *smh*

  13. I absolutely agree with you about St. Jimmy. Stage acting is different than screen acting though, as it usually needs to be a bit more over the top to reach the audience properly. Billie is fantastic performing on a stage, both as a musician and as an actor. He has tremendous stage presence, he connects with his audience, and his delivery, gestures and expressions work well in that kind of grand setting. Again, I completely respect and admire him and I think he is beyond talented. I just tend to prefer him as a musician. I haven't seen Ordinary World yet, and it seems I will be pleasantly surprised by his performance.

  14. I have great respect and admiration for Billie, but I think his acting in "Like Sunday, Like Rain" was kind of awful and I'm a little afraid to watch "Ordinary World", even though I haven't really heard anything negative about it yet. I remember in an interview from the early or mid 90s he said that most musicians that try to act are terrible (or something like that) and he used Vanilla Ice as a spot-on example. I secretly (or not so secretly, now) wish he would have followed his own advice and stuck with music - something he is 100% great at doing. My intention is not to seem mean or judgmental... It's just an opinion.

  15. I would look at it as more of a compliment. Billie is good at what he does so people want to emulate him, just like Billie did the same. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

  16. Oh! That's interesting and does make more sense. Something tells me Billie was perfectly aware of how it could be misinterpreted though, and was obviously okay with that

  18. It's a mathaphor for being old enough to face the world on your own and having to deal with being hurt. I agree. I think it's really cool coming from a guy. And it's very relatable.

  21. I agree I just read through all the lyrics there and found out that in Too Dumb To Die it's supposed to be "Looking for a buzz" instead of "Looking for a cause" in the first chorus I definitely hear "cause"...

  22. I know I've already replied to this, but I was trying to memorize Jesus of Suburbia the other day and, looking at the lyrics, I realized just how much I got wrong. So here is my treasure chest of misheard JoS lyrics "I'm the son of rage and love" "Hyper son of rager love" "Soda pop and Ritalin" "Started poppin' Ritalin" "No one ever died for my..." "Noonehfidkavd" "Get my television fix" "Get my television fixed" "The living room in my private womb while the moms and brats are away" "tgevdgqjsh Dr hfhfjsi" "City of the dead/City of the damned" "Heeeeeey I'm her dad/Saaaaaay I'm her dad" "Lost children with dirty faces today" "Sittin' up driving on the highway" "And I could really care less" "And I could really caress" yeah... ._.

  23. In Bang Bang I always hear "Oh baby bay this is Viva Vendetta, or this is World War...World war zero!" instead of "for this is love, it's World War Zero!"
