  2. First time I heard that too... I remember that in those shows he was holding beer, but he just threw it at the audience and he had water for himself so idk...

  3. Can't believe it's taken me so long to properly appreciate Makeout Party. It has the most wonderful bass and guitar solos that I've heard a hundred times but never really properly listened to, it seems. It's just skyrocketed from my bottom 5 trilogy songs to my top 10.

  4. You are making sense, but I don't think it's hugely respectful or appropriate to speculate about a recovering alcoholic/addict relapsing.

  5. I don't think that's that bad if they're good quality. Overpriced t shirts are one thing but they'd be kind of collectors pieces or almost art pieces rather than something for all fans so it's not exactly important that they're affordable, and they might cost quite a lot to produce. I've seen much worse merch rip offs.

  6. And maybe he won't. Let's hope for the best, that's about as much anyone can do anyway.

  7. Pretty sure he was just throwing beer on the audience for the most part at those shows, he certainly wasn't blind drunk like at previous ones. However he plays a character during FBHT shows so if that thing about smiling and winking is true it wouldn't surprise me whether he was really drinking or not, he was acting as the Rev at the time! I don't recall that Billie has promised anything about what he will and won't drink anyway though? Not everyone who goes through rehab pledges to be teetotal for life afterwards. He's been pictured with a beer in his hand on a few occasions since rehab and nothing terrible has happened. At the end of the day it's his business. A Foxboro show after one of the Green Day ones (in London perhaps ) would be very welcome if they still have it in them to pull that off. Or one on a free night during the tour. Of course during the 21st CB tour they had Prima Donna (and therefore Kevin Preston) on tour with them as support and that made it a lot more feasible, but I think it could still be done.

  8. Whoever comes with it to a show is getting sued by me. The thing looks scary! It would make a cool Halloween costume. Zombie Joe or something.

  9. I got them! It's difficult to express these feelings but I don't think it has fully dawned on me yet. I've been a fan for almost 7 years and over that time, "seeing Green Day" has become something that "surely would happen sometime" but it has always been such an abstract wish - like when people say they'll make a trip to somewhere really fancy or buy an expensive car but never really act on it. It's really awesome I'm finally past this stage. When I pick up the tickets I'll have to display them somewhere so I can stare at them all the time to remind myself I'm not dreaming!

  10. FBHT > The Network but why not? I heard Kill The DJ on radio today. I really love that song, it would be so fun live.

  13. He even screwed up the entire flow of Dos with his placement of Revolution Radio. The transition between Ashley and Baby Eyes is seamless and great.

  17. Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that (oops). In that case I would also like FBHT shows to happen. There are definitely enough free dates at the moment!

  18. yes, but he's already played two fbht shows sober and they were fine by all accounts. Shouldn't be an issue as far as we can guess.

  19. Revolution Radio wouldn't fit on ¡Dos!, not even musically. It would rather fit on ¡Tré!

  20. No matter what they tried, the HOTNESS still bursts through!

  21. It might fit in musicality and tone, but not subject matter.

  22. How woud Revolution Radio fit in any way on a party record?

  23. The look worked perfectly for the film. He isn't a hot rock star anymore in the film. He is a middle aged dad. Trust me, you will love him in it.

  24. So far I'm thinking it won't be that different from it . I mean obviously it's different subject matter and different production, but musically I think it sounds pretty similar (quite simple and with a bit of a rock and roll sound) and even the lyrics have that snappy one liner thing going on, sounds like a continuation along the same line rather than a tangent from it (as if they've taken their cue from songs like 99 Revolutions and are going further and harder with it). An album with a sound not too far from the trilogy's only with harder production and political/social commentary lyrics sounds promising to me.

  25. The masks are gone from the store and I sincerely hope it's because they realised that the price (and the idea that anyone wants to walk around with their "faces" on) was ridiculous not because ridiculous people already bought them all

  26. Oh yeah, already went there in my mind.
