Finally with the announcement of the Chicago show, the one station that played it on day one, is playing it regularly and I've gotten to hear on my way to and from work all this week.

I was always trying to keep it down around uninterested people but since Tuesday I'm running around being like: tickets tickets tickets, how do we get them??? notebook, phone, IN, livenation, somewhere else? seats, early entry, barrier how do I decide, mom help! And what if the show was cancelled? Aaaaaah pleeeease NO! I didn't show the RS cover to anyone but I'll give in at some point. I'm a nervous wreck, it's terrible However, I think mom symphatises with me. When I told her she seemed quite excited, she'll go and immediatelly called dad.

I haven't spoken about Green Day irl for years but now I can't shut up. It's gotta be hell parenting me right now. No shower is cold enough to calm me down.

Cool, definitely interested to know if you find anything out! I might try contacting the venues at some point. I'd be interested to know how many tickets there actually were too. Haha that shows how little attention I was paying with all the nerves, I thought they were the same price.

My mom has no idea that I'm going I just called her yesterday like "hey can you watch my dog for a couple nights?" "Yeah I'm going to a show with Adam." "Where is it? Uhhm...West Palm [a city about 5 hours from me instead of 4 states away]" Also growing up I've never had anyone to talk about green day with besides the lovely people of this forum. So now that I successfully converted my boyfriend, he gets to hear about all of it. Bless him.

Since the news about the album coming out, I've been going around the house like "omg mum I've been a fan for 10 years can you believe that, I need new Green Day shirts, the album's out so soon, look at them on this cover how handsome right, tourtourtour..." My family still seem quite used to it though, I guess they haven't forgotten from a few years ago

My local morning news show called Green Day a 90's band and the really obnoxious traffic reporter who thinks she's just the funniest said that she thought their 2003 tour was a reunion tour. Will be changing channels

I'm also interested in how it works - I'll try and figure it out in the next weeks. The early entry tickets were 11,50€ more expensive than the regular ones though.

I fully agree. The dialogue in the WMUWSE completely ruined it. As far as JoS is concerned, I think it's decent, but I'm not very fond of the general style. Holiday and BoBD easily trump it. Also, their Working Class Hero cover (and all their 21CB-era covers) is so good.
